Anybody had experience with National Merchant Bancard merchant account?

I am in my yearly look for a PayPal alternative (I can't stand PayPal) and found an interesting, potential merchant account that advertises itself for only $7.95 per month + .25 per transaction and 1.9%.

Am wondering if anyone has ever used them (they are called National Merchant Bancard)?

Carlos

PS. I am not affiliated in any way, shape, or form with this company and am sincerely wondering about using them to accept credit card payments from my clients.

I have never heard of them, but they look like they may have potential.

A website that I have used is called WePay.com.

They are great! Customer support is awesome, its simple, they don't randomly cancel your account, fee's are less than Paypal's, and signing up literally takes a second.

This option may work for you personally because it would take your clients just a few clicks to be able to pay with their credit cards.

(I am not affiliated with wePay at all, just helping you out!)

Thanks for the heads up on WePay, MacMiller.

I just chatted with them and read their Terms of Service.

Their fee is 3.5% of each transaction by credit card/debit card. 50 cents per transaction done by echeck but such transactions require a client (for example with my clients) to verify their bank accounts with WePay. Not sure that is viable or desirable for clients to do.

So if a client pays me $700 that's over $21 for a fee. Rather steep it would seem.

Also they reserve the right to cancel an account for just one chargeback and their chargeback fee is $35.

Still...it's nice to know of yet another alternative.
