Help! I Need a Wordpress Theme!

I am a technophobe when it comes to installing wordpress.

I want someone to recommend or send me a free theme. Its for affiliate marketing niche. I also want to place banner ads on it.

Now, I have to figure how to instal it!

    To be honest, no one can offer you the best free wordpress theme. There are hundreds of thousands of free themes all over the internet and you gotta pick one that is professional and the one that has good user experience. Probably what you can do is ask some of your friends on their opinion about your design. Peoples' mind set vary and you may be surprised to see different opinion.

    However in my opinion, most of the free themes are not that really good when it comes to professionalism and user experience. I love the themes developed by Elegant themes, but they are paid model. So it's up to you to choose from. If you are again thinking what the hell did I answer and may think that I didn't answer your question, this link will help you!

    I personally would suggest the 'Thesis' theme, you can place banner ads in there aswell as customize it. plus its pretty awesome for 'SEO'. ... you have to pay for it... gives a 30 day money back guarantee... but it's worth buying it. Will definatley help you with your affiliate marketing worst case just check it out

    Installing a WordPress theme is super simple.

    From your WordPress admin, click on

    Appearance->Themes

    then click on the "Install Themes" tab.

    Either click on the "Upload" link if you have downloaded a theme to your PC, or you can use the search function if you want to use one of the thousands of themes in the WordPress repository.

    There is no such thing as the best free theme, as someone said above. You might want to invest in a Premium theme which you can use on unlimited sites, such as Thesis, Catalyst, Headway, etc. It's a one time investment and you can pretty much design all the sites you want very easy.

    I personally am going to buy Headway Theme 3.0 soon!

    If I where you, don't trust the FREE Themes for it has a hidden link. "Hidden Link" will drop your site.

    It depends on what you're looking for. You could use review-theme.com. Good cheap and clean theme for reviews and with some customizations also good for other kinds of sites.

    In the past I also used elegantthemes.com. Some of them look good, but most the themes didn't have a good conversion rate. Too much noise and things going on.

    If you want a premium theme that is also free, go to Woo Themes and check out their free themes. Some you pay for but they do have some nice free ones too.
