Looking for a cart for my minisite?

Hi im looking for easy free shopping cart for my minisites,ive been trying zen cart, its not bad but I have to find something I can easily change the templates and header(which is not easy in zen). please help my host is setup with oscommerse(which i also dont like), cubecart and zen cart which i have now and wanna get rid of i need something that works and is easier.Thank you!

    Wow, I found ZenCart to be the easiest to template, and switch the templates out; I was doing a full change-over in an evening ..........

    Have you bought the ZenCart book? That really helped me a lot, in terms of getting efficient at skinning.

    What exactly are you selling?? That would help tremendously in trying to suggest the best solution.

    well to tell you the truth my biggest problem is trying to change the header logo area ,mostly everything else ive figured out but this part pisses me off sorry,ive worked on it for days and cant get it.i need something easier

    I've used Zencart, OSCommerce and Cubecart. After getting frustrated, I moved over to a paid solution: SunShop (or Volusion). The rest is history.

    I see it this way... If you're serious about your shop and making money, then the money will come. Start out from the beginning with the right foot and solid (easy) software instead of jumping from one free software to another. This let you finish the cart asap and get to the important part: marketing.

      Just pay someone to do the stupid header

      For the price you pay for a hosted system you could have your header changed every month if you wanted.

      Don't throw away dollars to save pennies.

      I started with a paid system - it was too restrictive.

      I switched over to Zencart 4 years ago and have stayed using it ever since. I've tried others and I like what I have.

      I hired a tech 4 years ago and we still work together. Now she works with me on other projects.

      If you are going to an online business then you need to have 1 of 2 things.

      Knowledge to do this stuff yourself
      OR
      Money to pay to have it done

      Its nice when you have both.

      Putting the site together is the easy part.

      There are so many templates out there for zencart - if you can't afford to hire someone to fix the header for you and you can't figure it out then start with a more generic template until you get some money to fix it the way you want.
      Its easy to switch templates - you load it in the folder then switch to the one you want in the admin ...
