Just got an email from 1and1 for a .99 cent sale on .info names if anyone uses .info. I do for testing and throways so I'm always looking for specials like this.
#.99 .info #cent #domains on sale #info #sale

Actually if you are willing to risk buying something from 1&1 (very BAD idea) then why not just get a .info at GoDaddy (slightly less of a bad idea than 1&1) for .49 cents instead - and you can get that price any day of the year using the old "shopping cart trick".

GoDaddy may not be the most ethical company to deal with but at least they won't ruin your credit when you try to cancel the .info next year, like 1&1 will do.

Can't see this of being of any value, sorry!

I'm unfamiliar with this "shopping cart trick"...is it something you can explain here?

I don't go with godaddy because of all the oto's on the site. I always transfer my domains to namecheap when it will let me. Waiting period and all that jazz. Yes I to do not like 1and1 or Godaddy. I love Namecheap but you never get great sales there. You get sales but more like 2.99 and 10 percent off.

But I do respect your view, since I have the same.

I really don't use GD that much myself, I'm just saying that you can buy a .info there any time for 49 cents if you want one for testing - in fact that's all I use them for.
For the record my "real" domains are also registered at NameCheap.

Appreciate your response, all the best to you.
