New time travel theory - pretty freaky

Internet Marketing would be 100 times easier if we could time travel....

Think about the $$$ we would save by going back in time and avoiding certain projects....

Think about the $$$ we could make by investing in other projects..

But we cannot time travel....so lets make do with what we have!

We have "Time"

Some have loads....
Others have less....

But one thing is certain...we don't have enough of it!

So how about we maximize our time!

Here is how....

1) Make a list of specific things to do.
2) Get rid of interruptions i.e. Browsing forums, research, facebook, etc
3) Do at least one thing a day that drives your business FORWARD!

As yourself when you are doing something....

"If this is the only thing I do today.....would I be happy about it?"

If the answer is no.....STOP and do something else!

Agree? Disagree? Comments?

Regards,

Chris

I would love to be able to travel forwards in time to Saturday and see the UK lottery draw!

Seriously, this is a good post. Quite often I find myself doing tasks which don't really need doing and avoiding the important stuff, the stuff that's going to move me forwards.

I have a day job so only have evening and weekends to fit in my IM work- plus I am working at a fitness routine so I have to be VERY disciplined. I set out a list of tasks that must be done each evening/ day but do also plan in a little 'goof off' time to stop myself becoming overwhelmed. The internet is a great tool but can be a huge distraction if you allow it to be.

      Thanks Lucky Stepho!

I would forward to Friday (Euromillions!)

If you have a day job you need to cut those distractions massively and try to create time by either outsourcing....or waking up earlier or going to bed later....

If I could go back in time I'd invest in the early stages of Nike, Microsoft, WalMart, Google, and then spend the rest of my time being known as the world's greatest sports better.

I always wanted that sports almanac from Back To The Future II.

Sure that would be good thing :-D.

In my opinion, this is one of the most important goals you should have. Avoiding interruptions when trying to build or do something especially online. To do list is one of the best ways how to keep yourself on a track since when you look at the list and you see there is no task done, you feel really bad about it. At least I do. That drives me to complete everything that I wrote down the day before.

If you set up a time for relaxing, then you should do the best you can to relax. On the other hand when you set up a time to make something for your business, you should do everything you can to accomplish it.

Thanks for the post. I totally agree with you wfhblueprints.
