Free Autoresponder Software

Does anyone know of any good autoresponder software I can use to send out emails to my list?

I'm just starting out building a list so I'm not ready to use a premium paid service such as Aweber or GetResponse yet. Atm I'm considering a program called Follow Up Expert.

Just so you know, its hard to convert your lists to getresponse or aweber if you dont start with them. you can lose up to half of your list, because they have to optin again. At least this is what I heard last.

Getresponse does have a free trial you can do, where you can send up to 5 auto messages to your subscribers each month.

If you would like a free but powerful auto responder, try FMLPlite. It is absolutely free and does a great job.

It can do scheduled newsletters, emails, ezines, and collect names for your lists. You can even have as many campaigns going as you want, creating a separate list for each one. It truly is a great tool and its totally free! You install it right into your website.

If you have trouble installing it, Let me know, I can install for you for a small fee.

Kelvin, I'm having trouble Registering to to receive the autoresponder software.

It just says "Error detected, Email is incorrect"

Did you experience these problems too?

Do yourself a favor NOW and don't waste your time with free autoresponders.

Just because it's free doesn't mean it won't end up costing you big in the long run.

Just cough up the $19.95 for Aweber or Get Response.

Find something you don't need to spend $20 on each month and replace
it with your autoresponder payment.

I completely agree.
It's only $20 a month dude!
Potentially you could re-coup that expense with one broadcast
to the right targeted list no matter what size the list is.

If you want to save even more money, now that Aweber has increased the price and down graded the number of leads you can have,

then head on over to www.Prosender.com

Its the old aweber, with the old limits and old pricing..

Definitely worth checking out..

Take care

Yeah, nice call on that one

It's Mike Filsaime's Private Label of Aweber.

Same exact service, minus the new features that you don't need to succeed.

David, you are absolutely correct!

They have changed their pricing (must have been very recent) to reflect that of Aweber..
Based on the new Prosender.com pricing, there is no real benefit of it over the new Aweber..

When I wrote it up, i was basing it on the pricing I had seen just a few weeks before, so sorry if I misled anyone..

As for a low cost alternative, use phpLists.. (http://www.phplist.com/)

Its FREE, and can be installed via FANTASTICO on your cpanel hosting (depending on version of Fantastico installed)
I have used it and I like it..

Take care

Does ProSender have a tiered pricing structure like AWeber?

JvListPro does not have the same tiered price structure as aweber.

Once your list goes over 500 subscribers with aweber - price increase.

JVListPro [not an affiliate] raises prices at 10k subscribers

Hey Bruce ... thinking about it now, I did see Prosender at one point and time as still having the old pricing ;-)

I am curious though, how phplist would compare (delivery rate) to Aweber, Getresponse, iContact or the other paid options??

As I understand it, the paid services seem to have a decent relationship with the major ISPs that generally allows those emails to pass through (unless of course one is blatantly using those spam keywords i.e. free, Viagra etc...)

Free would be great if the delivery rate is that of the paid services.

I guess it all depends on who you ask - Just the number of threads alone talking about Aweber vs. Getresponse seems to be like the "which came first - the chicken or the egg" debate ;-)

I'm with bravenet.com and they host my website. They also offer an autoresponder for free with your website. It's got ads though, but they are okay if you only have a small email list. If you expect it to be quite big I would go with a paid service. Bravenet is also good because it allows you to export your list and has the confirmation click, before they become active subscribers.

I hope this helps.
