Any Ideas on how you can monetize a free to play games review website?

    There are CPA campaigns involving free games.

    This would probably be your best bet.

      Agreed I would say CPA and possibly Adsense also.

      I saw a site on flippa recently that was free to play retro games and was making some decent money with Adsense, I ended up wasting about half hour playing pac man the site was monetized with Adsense and had some pretty decent image ads that fit in really well with the site

    If you are reviewing games, there may be Affiliate programs.
    Adsense though is probably the easiest way..
    And the old standard: put up an email capture system on each page of the site. Offer something of great value to get people to sign up for your list...
    Market to your list.

    Google adsense and amazon are probably the best monetization programs for the environment you specified.

    Adsense is pretty bad for game site as the pay per click is very low. I would also suggest CPA. Try Free game gift cards where an user put in their email and you get about $1.5 per lead.

    Make your own ads on your site that link to games for sale on amazon after you become an amazon affiliate or any other affiliate programs related to this (preferably some that have a monthly subscription)

    The CPC for games sites is low with Adsense. I would go with CPM ads.

    These sites are notoriously hard to monitize, and hard to get decent traffic as well.

    If you manage the second, I had some success with timed content locking with very simple email submits.
