...see their traffic drop significantly in the past month or so???? I was having anywhere between 250 - 400 views everyday for at least a few months. Before that it was more like 200-300 a day. A little over a month ago I started seeing 100-200 views a day!! Half of what I was getting.

Any ideas of why this is??? Is it the time of year? I did notice that one of my keywords went from the front page to the second page. It was a pretty popular keyword for my site, but not my main keyword. I was so excited that my traffic seemed to be increasing nicely and now I feel like this is a big set-back. I know this traffic is nothing to some people, but to a beginner it is relevant. I have also seen my sales fall to almost nothing. I figured this is because of the holidays. People are spending money on presents and not on info for themselves.

Any input appreciated, thanks!

Maybe you could find out which keywords were bringing the traffic and then look at were those keywords are now in the search engines.

Once you have located a keyword that used to bring traffic and now dropped down in the rankings you could write a good article related to that keyword and post it on your blog.

What is your site about? Is it something that would attract more people at a certain time of the year only? Besides that, all I can recommend is to create more traffic to your blog by doing SEO and creating backlinks to rank higher on Google. I'm sure your traffic will pick up this way. Best of luck!

Thanks for the replies. I do know which keyword went down in the rankings, just not sure if that was enough to make such a drop or if there is more to the equation. I already have a popular post on the keyword (it actually has the most replies on it than any of my other post), so I starting linking more to it to try to get it back up, but is has not seemed to make a difference yet. Should I write another article over the topic, or just continue linking to it??? Thanks.

My niche is infertility related. I don't think there really is a more popular time of year for it. But I do think people are buying for other people over the holidays and not thinking about their issues as much. Am I wrong for assuming that?? Thanks again.

My traffic has actually been increasing, even while I did nothing during the holidays.
