Newbie Affiliate Marketing Essentials - Training and Software

Hey Guys,

A few years back I dabbled a little bit with a little IM in blogging and adsense w/virtually no SEO. I made 93$ in google (and paid more for that :p) and so have yet to cash anything and sort of just fell out of it...

Now I'm more seriously looking to get back into it after reading a bit, and recently started the "Unstoppable Affiliate" program by Andrew Hansen. I get the general idea and application and wanted to hear from some of you in regards to the essentials - My apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere.. Sure it has somewhere to be honest. I did look a bit .

1. What "programs" would you say are essential aside from Market Samurai which I've seen mentioned a lot. Know of any discounts for this, or any of these?

2. What other training programs might you recommend -- now I'm seeing a lot about Chris Farrell, and checking his site there's a 21 days to success prorgam which I'm guessing is what people are referencing -- I really like the idea of being given specific day by day task to get my disorganized arse moving and on track. Would you recommend getting this over the Unstoppable Affiliate which I like but isn't laid out in this way? Any others that'd you'd recommend more?

Many Thanks in Advance!

Richard.

If you are a real newbie, try to find a mentor that can help you 1 on 1. All the training programs are modules or webinar and can't really have 1 on 1 time live. If you have found a mentor, ask him for a proof of that he is actually made success with his method. Affiliate Marketing is hardest thing to do for me. I used to do micro niche sites and earn with adsense, but 2012 I decided to get more into CPA marketing.

Head over to ebay and see if anybody is selling John Reese's "Traffic Secrets 2.0" course. Or you can use Yanik Silver's 33 days to online profits course since you like the day-by-day method.

It's really tough to actually point out specific things that you should read/know/have as a newbie to succeed in affiliate marketing. There are so many products and so much information out there that is useful to have at the back of your mind. I would suggest reading through these forums, getting your hands on some ebooks and reading those as well. Best of luck!

Hey, Richard. You don't need a paid tool in order to do keyword research. You can just use the free Google keyword tool. As far as Unstoppable Affiliate goes, it's a quality course. If you're willing to take the time to gain the knowledge and skills you need to make it happen, you're good.

    Good luck,
    Joey

    Was going to echo Joey.

You don't need anything other than domain names, hosting and an auto-responder to start with... seriously.

Best thing you can do is stick with the Unstoppable Affiliate course and make daily progress towards your goals.

    1. Get a site up
    2. Get trafffic
    3. Monitor conversions
    4. Do it better, better and better

Course get you started and help you tweak existing results. Don't buy anything else until you want a new idea you can implement to your existing business model.

A bit late (actually had trouble finding the previous post for a sec - got it down now), but Thanks everyone for the Awesome Advice!

Continuing with Unstoppable Affiliate in a mix of that and some free content/vids from affilorama. I'm enjoying both. Got my word press all setup and ready to start getting content on after I clear up a couple of questions in regards to copywright and what I can/can't put on in regards to banner copywright and general images/material copywright.

      Thanks all!

    Hi Akashra,

I want to encourage you to focus on one project at a time and get good at it.

Something I want to add is, when you are ready to go to another level in Internet Marketing, I would suggest to develop your own product and promote it. That's where you are going to see a big jump in profits.

My mentor, who is a member of this forum, thought me most of what I know today after years in the Internet Marketing. He is also a very successful affiliate marketer but he encourage every affiliate marketers to develop a product of their own at one point.

Just look for williamrs in this forum he has a new and complete program called: William's Coaching Program. He guarantee a minimum of 1500$/month within 4 months.

He was recommended to me by Chad Hamzeh also a recognized Warrior forum marketer and CPA expert.

    Regards

    David
