How do you track conversion?

Hey all,

Simple question: How do you track conversions of landing pages? I use Google Website Optimizer for split testing which is awesome but what can I use if I want to just track the conversion of 1 single page?

I know that I could just view the thank-you page loads through analytics but there must be some software that I can use to keep track of it all.

The perfect solution would be the same platform as website optimizer but not necessarily having to run a split test.

Thanks

Brandon

    Hey Brandon,

Which page shouldn't matter. You just specify the page and
the conversion page and your good to go.

Also, Check out Visual Website Optimizer.
Definitely the best split test software out at the moment.

    Hope This Helps.

I was going to suggest this as well, give it a spin- they have a 30 Day Free Trial.

I would set up goals in Google Analytics for this.

    Hi,

You can setup Goals in Analytics to help track this better.

I agree - Google Analytics goals are an easy way to measure conversion.

BUT - you should be split testing if the conversion is important to you. Visual Website Optimizer makes this incredibly easy.

    Here's a really good tutorial:
