Status is always important, and on the internet its even more important, as it seems to be sometimes.

Would people on this forum respond the same if you posted the thread, probably not

Don't take it personally, i think Frankie is trying to say that there are a TON of these threads already. (How to make x with y in z time) It's the same old post day in and day out that frustrate most people.
New members should use the search function before starting a thread, i can almost guarantee that you will find an answer to your question...

Heya,

Dude - That goal is very doable. You're asking how to make $1,583 a month - Not a large amount by any means.

My recommendation? I'd go with freelancing. It's the only surefire method of earning money online. Everything else, affiliate marketing, SEO, CPA, etc all requires a degree of luck. It's hit or miss. Freelancing isn't - You do the work, you get paid.

Sign up for an eLance account, take enough tests to get a good rating, then submit 40 proposals a month. You'll hit $1,500 a month in a month or two.

As for poker, I don't recommend it. I know several professional poker players and they all say it's gotten EXTREMELY difficult. All the low-level stakes are having their profits pulled out by poker-playing-farms in China and South Africa, as are the low level SnGs. To profit you need a really unique system, usually by mastering fringe games like speed shorthand SnGs or heads up. It's unlikely you'll get to a profitable level with $500.

You can definitely make it happen, but it takes a definite plan. If your only plan is to play online poker and then invest in affiliate marketing I promise you will be sitting at $0 in 6 months.

You need to identify your market. What are their needs, problems, how can you solve them? Identify your traffic source. If paid, what do you estimate you CPC to be? What do you estimate your EPC to be? Do you have an effective sales funnel setup? If you spend your 1st $100 on testing what are you estimating your ROI to be, and can you identify the problems if you don't hit that number?

This can be done, but it takes planning, and testing. That is, if you are looking to build a truly sustainable business. Gone are the days where you can direct link to an affiliate offer on adwords and make bank.

There is really no secret, yet everyone is out there searching for one. It simply takes planning, testing, building, and work. If you aren't willing to do any of those things then it won't happen for you.

Hope, altough it is my first post here, that I can bring some value on this forum by making a fun thread which might inspire all of us.

I think I would go to on-line poker. Make it 1k, then invest in affiliate marketing.

If it is not challenging enough, we can obviously make it 500$ into 50k, or whatever the number is going to be. I would ask a moderator then to change the numbers since I have to off-line now and probably can't edit anymore within a certain amount of time.

Without knowing your experience, I'd suggest becoming a list building/affiliate marketing model.

1. Buy War Room ($39)
2. Do some research on 100 Quality products found in the War Room (time)
3. Compile into an ebook with a link at the top saying "Cool Stuff If You Have War Room" and the put an aff link to sell War Room (somewhere on the forum not sure where but Google it)
4. Run a Free WSO ($40 to post/bump...run it 3-4 times a week to build a list of warriors)
5. Sign up as an Affiliate At JV Zoo and Warriorplus to promote products every week for cash.
6. Reinvest cash into your free WSO.
7. Post on forum to get signature link exposure to free WSO.

Boom...that'll be a nice business come 6 months.

I once asked Mike Filsaime this same question...or I think something similar.

His answer was very simple and I followed his advice.

More products, More niches, and more affiliates.

But the difference was that I actually took action. It is what 99% of other people do not do. They just keep dreaming.

I have actually turned $300 into $16,000 in 2 months before here is how I did it.

1. created a product that people wanted.(free just a little time investment)

2. ran paid advertising on the places they searched for information like ppc and forum banners ($300)

3. reinvest into paid advertising and keep doing over and over

I cleared $15,200 in profit in around 2 months

Let me see, If Im just starting out with 500 and want to turn that into 10,000 in six months. Ok. I would build my own product, weather software or a publication. I would use the 500 to build it and market it. I would then get a squeeze page, a autoresponder and collect the emails. I wouldnt even care what I made the first 5 months and 29 days. But if I could build a list of 10,000 off that 500 I would be pretty well off.

Freelancing is a great introduction to more . . . freelancing. If you really want a business you can grow (unless you outsource your freelance work you are pretty much stuck income wise with whatever you can eke out on your own) I think you need to develop a list in a niche that is hungry for more than just one product. Then you can develop a business you can grow because you can market to your customers over and over.

This is easy. I'd spend about a month creating a high quality product. Then another month on affiliate promotion and the sales letter. Later spend $60 for sales page graphics. That's around two months. Next I would inform affiliates and create buzz around my product along with searching for JV partners. Then it would be time to launch my product and it would easily cover what you're trying to make.
