Does Being Successful Stress You Out?

I know this sounds stupid. We all want to be successful and it should give us more freedom and less stress right? And I'm not saying don't be successful. Go for it. It definitely beats the alternative.

However...

I have a lot of friends that are taking pay cuts or losing their jobs and need money and everything else with this economy. They all look at me who doesn't have a job and pretty much has the freedom to do whatever he wants and they're like how do I do what you do?

But it's not that easy. You can't just teach someone over night how to build an online business. I know everyone selling the latest Magic IM Formula would like us to believe different, but you can't. It takes time. Heck it took me an hour the other day just to explain to someone how dooce made money from her blog and that's pretty basic stuff. I mean before you even teach them a thing about online business you have to teach them how to stop thinking like an employee and start thinking like a business owner.

And to be perfectly honest I have a lot of stuff going on. The IM is just my spending cash that I do for fun. My main focus is investing in real estate and I'm trying to buy as much as I can before the market goes up. I don't really have time to give everyone an advance degree in Internet Marketing.

But then I'm going to do it anyway. I have a handful of friends and family who I'm going to take the time to teach, because what's the point of having the freedom to do whatever you want if there's no one to do it with you? But all I keep thinking is that if they don't see the same results I do I'm going to feel responsible for encouraging them to invest all the time and energy and then having it not pay off.

I mean I know the systems work, but there aren't any guarantees. The only guarantee is that if you keep trying sooner or later you'll get it and it will be awesome. I just know from experience that people tend to get frustrated and quit before they get to that point.

Anyway, that got a little out of hand. I was really just wondering how many people felt the pressure of being successful when so many other people seem to be going through financial frustrations.:rolleyes:
