OK, so what's the point???

Just got a friend request from somebody whose username I don't recognize. Can you believe it??? Somebody wants to be my friend??? Even my dog grabbed her bowl and left last week!!

Seriously though, what's the point of the 'friends' feature in the WF?

Tom, when I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Seriously, somebody said it has something to do with links or something. I
still don't really understand it but whatever.

It is nice to know you have friends though, right?

Steve, Yeah, I see what you're saying, but it doesn't make sense to me either....oh well.

Maybe they are just a friendly person. So what? Everyone needs a friend :p No big deal. It's not like you have to know someone for 20 years to be a "friend".

Mystifying. But I sure did click on the 'accept' button for fear of being branded an unfriendly type. And once accepted, I haven't been contacted by PM, so I really can't figure it out, either.

Maybe someone who has sent friend requests in the WF can let us know their reasoning or the usage of the function...

    Tom,

Whenever I see someone post something extraordinary, something that stands out from the crowd, someone who is truly sincere, and posesses great knowledge, I 'befriend' them.

I look at my 'friends list' as a group of bright people who I could count on whenever I need help with something, that may be easy as pie for them. They also know that I would do the same for them.

In the past, before the friends feature, I have had problems I couldn't solve, and knew exactly who could help me, but I just couldn't remember their username. Very frustrating.

Now I use the friends feature to 'bookmark & organize' my friends so to speak.

Hope that helps explain how you can utilize this excellent feature.

Jared - that's the first logical sounding explanation I've heard so far.

Hey - that smile has helped me close a lot of sales in years past...

I was actually wondering if I could make my avatar a bit bigger, say 2000 x 2000!!!

It was the fear OF the smile that did it Tom

    Mostly from young ladies
