If I have a squeeze page and direct all my traffic to it to collect leads do I also need a blog? I was thinking of just concentrating on my list and building a relationship with them through e-mail marketing..not really a blogger anyways..

  • Yea either way could work. Some people like to post stuff on their blog and then email there list telling them to check it out. THey use the blog to house there content thats all. Its also gives a more professional look.
  • It would be good if you have a blog...you can post quality content on them and to attract readers..from there you can always direct them to your squeeze page to build up the leads too..
  • A blog is good period, it can cover just you and your work. It's getting to where people want to know who they are dealing with as not to get ripped off.

Do you have to have a blog, absolutely not. You can succeed without one.
  • Blog with sales page always help in directing targeted traffic to your salespage as a chance to get more conversions..... It also interests readers to come to your site and look for updated information.... Its up to your choice whether you want to have that or not but it will always benefit you all the way long......

  • Keep it simple. Build the squeeze page, have them opt-in to your autoresponder, then contact them reguarly via email. If you're into affiliate marketing, cloak your links with Aweber.com's "click tracking" service. That way you can hide the affiliate link. But you dont need a blog after you've gotten the lead. It's a great way to build relationships with your list... but you can also use it to get search engine traffic and new leads that way also.
  • I would suggest having both - a sales/squeeze page and a blog/website. I do this because I always want to have the option to get backlink/SEO juice, and that's way easier for me if I have a blog. Also when in comes to PPC a blog for me works great. And when I mean blog I mean something with a lot of unique content and not lots of spammy links and garb all over.
