Most of you guys on WF have self hosted websites, and blogs and usually have to pay for it. This is normal but what do prefer? When paying for self hosting

Upfront pay - so you wont have to worry about it

or

Monthly pay - So you can always stay on top of it

I would just like some of your opinions! Thank you

I pay monthly, but does not matter I use hostgator always and forever, if I even did change my mind and I was paying for a year, they would refund the difference. It's a choice if you want to risk price increases or not.

I have a Hostgator account and have no objections to a monthly charge.

But when it comes to monthly fees for most other products, I draw a line. If I can't buy, I also won't rent.

Upfront for the year using hostgator. My sites aren't going anywhere and I don't have worry about it more than 10 minutes every 12 months.

If you're trying a new host I would do monthly just in case the service quality is subpar. But like the others I use HostGator (great service), and pay semi-annual, the rates a little cheaper and overall less time spent worrying about paying one more monthly bill.

Hostgator 21 Dallas 3 oh how that hurts lol. Yeah go with hostgator and you don't have to worry about going monthly or yearly, as long as you sign with hostgator you will be happy.

If hosting is like 5-6$ a month then you can choose to pay monthly and if it is like $1-$2 per month I am sure you will not find an option to pay monthly

But paying for 6 months or annually is safe if you are with a good company....

Pay the $120 to host gator for the year or whatever package it is you are going after. It is one less thing you have to do on a monthly basis. Just one more time sucker you get out of the way.

And then you don't have to think about it. Talk about time relief then.
