Well if you are not completely using the article and just taking a part of it. I think it should not cause a problem. For example, you write a 2000 word article and in this word-count say 300-400 words are from any particular article of these directories. Then it should not cause any problem i believe.

I think it's time for you to change your belief system. What you advocate is theft, plain and simple, and it will cause problems, hopefully for the person who does the stealing.

No problem at all for someone who doesn't mind finding that their hosting company removes their website on receipt of the original author's email DMCA notice, and who has a good lawyer standing by to settle the breach of copyright claim out of court.

E-mail the support of article directory and see whether it allows you to copy the snippets of an article. If the directory allows you to copy, it might ask you to credit the article with the author and article directory info. In any case, you should credit the article.

Any directory that allow things like:
-copying part of an article
-making changes to the article
-making a video out of an article

Here's a thought. If you've found an article you like, but don't want to use it all, why not contact the author and ask THEIR permission to use part of it? Don't forget to include the original link(s) that the author placed in the article.

I've seen sites that use the first paragraph or just a title that link back to my articles on directories. I know that it's a backlink for the articles but personally I would rather they use the whole article and include the author bio, which is in the terms of most directories.

I've seen one directory that allows you to make changes to articles but I doubt any decent writer would submit there.

You can make a video out of any of my articles providing you include my links.

I agree, really. I do sometimes think that. But then again, I sometimes think of non-members "looking in" and reading these threads, and it can be a public service - of sorts - to point out clearly that something's "not OK" and is going to get you into trouble. Otherwise it ends up being one of those "It must be true: they said so in the Warrior Forum" things ...

Be very careful of copying parts of any article. If you copy even from your own article and try to repost on ezinarticles.com they may ban your account. Further, if you are writing for others and they use Copyscape it is likely your purloined copy will be flagged. It is never a good idea to plagiarize content on the internet. That may have worked in college, but . . .

Why waste your time looking in article directories? I can spend a few hours to a day or so researching your subject, include the years of somewhat tedious labor I have put into learning to write an article that gets read as well as syndicated, and write 600 or 700 words for you(sorry .. even my blog post are longer than 300 words).

I wouldn't think of wanting any compensation or recognition whatsoever .... I mean .. it's just words .. Right?
