cell phone marketing - bulk sms texts

I get daily optin lists of phone data for my company and would like to use them for text marketing as well. Is this effective? What is the best company out there to handle 500 or so numbers a week?

    For 500 numbers a week...just get a spare phone.

    I use to send out 100k text per month... on ONE cell phone.

      Well I get the data in excel format so it would be easy to just copy and paste them into a program online that sends them out in bulk. Are there any really simple ones? No problem paying for the best

        If your looking for a cheap texting service the best one I have used is Twilio. I believe its a penny per text message. I have built a lot of tools around Twilio, very easy to use!

    There is an excellent product (TextAlertz) that thousands of other businesses are already using. This is a very simple yet exciting technology to increase sales and customer loyalty.
    Example. let's say you own a restaurant. It's a rainy afternoon and the tables are empty. The prospects for the evening's dinner crowd are not looking good.     Sounds like OP needs a web based platform that will allow him to upload his own numbers and blast texts. I tested out MoboMix for my offline business today, and it worked well (very simple UI). They have a pay as you go plan, which sounds ideal for the OP.

    Anyone know of a good source for opt-in cell lists available by zip code?
