Your 2012 Roadmap -- you didn't start the new year without one did you?

Happy new year guys and gals,

I'm part of a group on Linkedin (devoted to product creation) and I was actually quite surprised to see a few members didn't write themselves raod maps for 2012.

So my question is...have you?

...and what is your biggest three targets for the new year?

Focus has been a problem for me. I try too many things. I'll work on Health CPA and ASOTV offers this year. Been doing that for a month now and the returns have been good.

I'm still working for my 2012 plan. Hopefully it will be finished this last week of January and if I succeed on this, I'll definitely share it here in WF.

Nice to see focus is the main trend here.

I have organised my plans like this:

    1. Yearly goal.
    2. Quarterly goal derived from yearly goal.
    3. Monthly goal derived from quarterly.
    4. Weekly goal
    5. Then the good ol'fashion TO-DO Lists

This works the best for me

I have chunked down a whole bunch of my goals into daily to-dos.

I've got the year planned with the first 3months done in detail with flexibility in built for the remainder of the year....

So you can say that I have a road map

Surprisingly, only about 3-5% of the population have a written road map/goals. The rest don't. Billions have no idea what it is.

Thank God I am in the minority group and 2012 will be the year to stamp my authority in my sub-niche. The strategies to achieve this may be too long to put here.

I have general goals for 2012, but I don't spend as much time planning and making lists as I used to. This is partly because I already have a good idea of where I'm headed (which is the result of many, many previous planning sessions and lists), and partly because I try to focus these days on simply completing my next task as opposed to looking at it on a list.

However, I do spend a great deal of time thinking through my decisions and shaping my vision of growth for my business.

Just found out I need to tear mine up and start from scratch.

Good news: Brian Tracy is certainly smiling at the thought.

Focus is definitely the big one for me, too.

I've put enough time into "experimenting" with various things, and this year I am trying to get better at saying no so I can narrow in on what I should really be doing. Time to stop playing and start empire building!

Off topic, since I saw it brought up: I'm from Ontario, and went to school at McGill. Nice to see people from the area!
