Facebook Admin Questions

I didn't see a very relevant sub-forum to put this under, so I posted it here in the general section.

I had a few questions about Facebook and making someone an admin. I see that I can make someone an admin, but is there a way for me to make another person an admin, and then they could have the ability to delete me as an admin? What I'm interested in finding out is, is there a way to make someone else a "main admin", or whatever that's referred to? Does everyone have equal admin rights, even if they're not the author of the page?

This way, I could manage someone's FB page for them, and then hand it over to them at any time they want.

    Hi....

You can have as many admins as you like.....and they all have equal privileges.

Which means you can be deleted as an admin by another admin.....can be a bad thing if you want to retain control of the page though.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the info! This is good news. Now I know it's possible to setup a page for someone, then make them an additional admin so they can take their page back at any time they wish to. Once I'm done with my stuff, they can simply delete me as an admin.

      No Problem!

Yup! That is perfectly possible.....that's what I tend to do with one off facebook sales....

One recommendation though is make sure you always have more than one admin for a page....in case a facebook account gets closed down for whatever reason....prevents heartache later on.

Yeah, ok. That's one thing I was thinking of too, in regards to me running a fan page for someone else. I wanted to be sure the page wouldn't get deleted if anything ever happened to my account.

That's the easiest way to setup new fb pages for clients. Just create it in your account, add them as the admin then delete yourself
