    - Depends on what you are trying to achieve.

After Keyword research with Market Samurai, you could try OptimizePress for sales pages, The Best Spinner for content creation and e.g WP robot for making auto blogs (edit: only if you have use for it, not really recommended for your money sites) . The rest, you can use it to hire freelancers for backlinks for your articles (edit: to link to your money sites).

    Hope this helps.

And this is exactly what you get, some random recommendations. It all depends of what you want to do, which road are you walking. Are you doing SEO, or are you creating your own products? Are you going to flip sites? Different softwares for different niches.

Creating your own sites it is then. Purchase, WProbot set up amazon blogs. There is this discount available for january: 'SProbot' which will give you a total discount of $91. No, I am not affiliated with them, but I purchased this bot yesterday in the hope to give some more live to my existing blogs. My personal stuff aside. Then you need some tool to optimize your website with. Building links. Look for software that is building links for you on auto pilot? Or use a website like www.linkjuicer.com you will need a total of $150 keep the rest in your pocket and see if there are other areas to invest.

Do not buy auto-content generating stuff like WPRobot, wpamazon or whatever they are called. If you are serious about internet marketing then you should do it the legit way by creating unique content and build backlinks to your site to rank in Google. Building backlinks may be daunting and to find quality sites to put your link in, I recommend you Scrapebox tool, it is a very good tool that scrapes the internet and helps you save hours of manual work. Search for "Scrapebox discount", find a good source of proxies and you're good to go.

God what a BAD advice...and why do you think is WPRobot the golden goose of Internet Marketing? Because it helps you to make some pathetic sites with dupe content from amazon?

To be honest...he would be WAY better off investing the $500 in content writing and/or SEO...or letting someone create a few niche sites + unique content. If you are lucky you can get custom wordpress site made and designed for $50. Then get someone to write you 4-5 articles (for a start) - which (IMO) is way better than making some scraped autoblog.

As for his initial question re: Tools... i cant answer this since i don't know what his marketing priorities are..so..why should i recommend him..say Senuke or Magic Submitter or similar if he doesn't even do SEO?

That being said, he might want to look into Scrapebox - simply because it is VERY flexible what you can do with it. It's like an all-round tool.

However, I think you shouldn't spend a dime right now. You should learn more about what you are doing, which you can do without spending any money. Move forward when you have a clear, focused plan. Hopefully this thread can help you do that.

To be honest, all our advice is 'bad' simply because we don't know where he stands. He basically asked for tools, and some of the advice given here are tools used when doing other things prior. So in other to give a real good advice, Arran should be more specific in what he actually wants.

I'd stay away from WPRobot also. Google is not treating duplicate content sites very well these days.

It's way too early for you to be investing money in anything. You need to get some information, make a decision about how you want to make money and then invest in the tools to make that happen. Just throwing money at random tools without having a plan is the same as throwing in the toilet.

Exactly! It is way to early for you to start spending money. You have to be thinking about making money now, not spending it.

Yes, tools may help you do things faster and easier, but they are not a must. Believe me, I did without buying one single tool. Yes, it takes time and a lot of work to do it this way, but what you learn in the process is priceless and can help you make money for the rest of your life.

Then when you start making some money and you want to start another income stream, get a few tools to free up some time for you and the good thing at that point will be that since you have done all of these things yourself, you will know what a tool should do, so you will have a better idea what to buy and what not to buy.

Sick Submitter (Great tool for building profile links etc)
Get Article Pro (Great for all those articles you need to rewrite)
The Best Spinner - great spinner by Jon Ledger
Artisteer (make your own wordpress/blogger themes

I have to agree with what most people have said already - we can't offer you advice on which tools to buy without knowing your business goals.

You say you are interested in Amazon affiliate marketing? Then I'd recommend using your investment money in a training course perhaps? Something that will give you the guideance you need to make real money with Amazon.

Other than that, you have my #1 tool already (Market Samurai) so can't really recommend anything else.... apart from maybe Fresh Store Builder for Amazon based sites... It's not really a tool, it's a web script for creating Amazon stores... $147 for unlimited licenses but I think the owner has a WSO where it's like $97. I use it and it's great for auto pilot Amazon income

    Thanks
    Eleanor

I suggest don't spend your $500 on tools yet. Find a good coach (or mentor) - someone who's further down the path you want to follow - and have a session or two with your coach to get your priorities sorted out.

You can't know what tools are most useful to purchase until you know what you want to achieve - your goals - and what you need to do to achieve them.

Right now, I suggest you're best off getting focused about what you want to achieve

NICE! Don't ever buy something unless you're itching to buy it and just need the money. When you have extra money lying around that you're not sure what to do with, keep it. you're going to need it someday when you see something you REALLY need, but if you let it burn a hole in your pocket right now, it won't be there when you find something really valuable to invest in.

Start writing content, good content. Forget about the link building, its becoming less important with every Google update.

  • What business model do you follow?
If it's PPC then you would want to invest it in that. If it's SEO I always suggest Market Samurai (which you already have ) and then I'd recommend Build My Rank which is a link building service. To be honest, that's all I use and it works really well.

As most everyone else has said, first, figure out what you want to do. Then get a FEW tools that should help you accomplish your goal and learn how to use them. A lot of people will just buy a ton of tools and stare blankly at them, give up, and lose money.

I'd go with Rob Maggs...except he forgot that you only have $500 to spend. So, to slim down his recommendations, Scrapebox, the best spinner, article marketing robot, tweetattacks and war room membership will leave you with plenty of change. As for how to get the best out of these tools, just spend some time in the war room and watch a few related youtube videos and you will be all set up.

Spend some of it, not all of it, on a coach or mentor who has a long track record of delivering great results for students. But understand you have to do it yourself, in the end.

Coaching, mastermind, whatever, just make sure it's top-notch. Have some left over for the tools and whatnot you will need to spend on as instructed by a coach.

Choose someone who has the business model you want to follow and get 'er done.

The OP obviously never came back to this thread. However, for the benefit of others who stumble across this thread:

As others mentioned, don't ask such a general, vague question without giving more details!

First things first: you need to be CRYSTAL CLEAR on your niche and business model, niche and target market. (If you don't know yet, say so!) Tell us what you've done so far and what tools you already have. Tell us what your results are so far and what your goals are.

THEN we can give intelligent advice. Otherwise, you risk receiving horrible/wrong advice.

This is EXCELLENT advice! One of my mentors said something very similar. Her advice was to spend the bulk of your money on instruction/mentoring and then actually build the business on a shoestring.

That's what I'm currently doing. (And yes, my mentor is absolutely the cream of the crop. She's not cheap, but absolutely worth every penny!)

The right instruction/mentoring will save you a fortune in time and money lost wading through all of the junk, trying to figure it out on your own.

I'm going to advise against the coaching. There's so much good info on this forum and others for free or the price of a cheap WSO.

The aim was to spend money on TOOLS. I recommend Scrapebox first and foremost. Then learn the crap out of it. Then check out Ultimate Demon on a monthy sub at first to learn it and see if it will help you with whatever you're doing.

Look for a good mentor that offers a WSO that teaches great IM principles and that will make a difference to your future IM income.

I would begin by looking for WSOs that offer one on one coaching but not all of them are great. You need to find a reputable WSO coming from a reputable Internet Marketer. He will be the one that you can trust to spend on tools if necessary.

To do that, look at all the comments and posts from real WSO clients (WF user registered to a specific WSO) and keep in mind the WSOs that has all positive comments.

Then you can look at the Internet Marketer profile that promoted the WSO. Most of the reputable Internet Marketer have more than one WSO on the forum, nothing is stopping you from making a thorough search and look at other comments within his other WSOs. This way you know that you are dealing with not only a reputable WSO but a great Internet Marketer.

Once you've found a few reputable WSOs, look for the one that is the most compatible to your profile and goals and start asking questions (posts) to the Internet Marketer that posted the WSO before buying. Questions should be about the kind of commitment needed, the skills needed, other expenses involved during the program, etc.

Don't spend more than 500$ for a coaching program (WSO) and there's a lot out there a lot cheaper than that.

Once you've made your decision to buy and commit, make sure you focus and commit long enough to it so that you are begin to see results. Don't let yourself lure to other shiny things on the internet like most new Internet marketers do and, at the end, never accomplish a thing.

    Good Success

    David

    1. Staged.com - platform for promoting any affiliate product or website you'd like

    2. TweetAttacks.com - software to supercharge the amount of traffic you receive to your stages created with Staged

    3. Sign up for ZeekRewards (this is pretty much the most lucrative business opportunity I've seen to date. The site looks like crap but it's 100% legit. PM me and I'll send you a link to course that I've created to where I show you exactly how I use each one of these) ZeekRewards is all you need by itself. If you message me, I can show you how you can be making $4-5k/mo passively within about 6 months.

Like I said earlier, with Staged, you can promote anything you'd like, but Tweet Attacks and ZeekRewards are two programs that work for me and I believe in, so these are what I use Staged to promote.

**I recently signed up for the forum so I can't post links, so if anyone is curious about my success with any of the above tools mentioned, please PM me and I will send you the link to my course, which is a step-by-step walkthrough of how to get signed up and use each one. As of now the course is free, so this is not a sales pitch.

Well, a couple of the posts above have already covered the commonsensical (yes, it's a word? :p) approach, so I will just answer the question:

      1. Directory of Ezines $197 - Use this to locate, and promote to, targeted traffic sources in your niche.

      2. Optimize Press $97 - A robust, and well-supported theme, that is very popular amongst marketers. It will enable you to set up squeeze and sales pages, etc, with ease.

      3. Autoresponder Madness $197 - A premium email marketing course that will show you how to make massive profits from a tiny list.

(None of these are affiliate links )

      TOTAL COST = $491

Of course, these tools aren't needed to start making $$$, but all are highly-regarded and will provide excellent value for your investment.

Definately don't spend the money on luxury items!

    Invest it into a project.

    Personally I would either

    1. Create a site and flip it on flippa
    2. Create an adsense site
    3. Create an amazon review site

Pretty much with all of these I would create the site using possibly the CTR theme from CTR Theme - The Ultimate AdSense Theme and then use tools like BuildMyRank.com and Unique Article Wizard to help build backlinks and rank for the site. You should soon see a good return of passive income

Really depends on what you are going to do. If you are into SEO and want to start a business based on ranking in Google, I would recommend those tools (those are really must-haves):

    Scrapebox
    Market Samurai
A submitter of some sort - Think Sick Submitter, Magic Submitter, AMR/UAW or other similar blog network.

SENuke X is also a great program, yet it's quite expensive (I think currently it's around $150/month).

I wouldn't invest too much of that $500 into automated tools. Since you're doing affiliate marketing with amazon, you can use that money to purchase plenty of unique highy quality articles/product reviews that you can post on your sites. You can outsource most if not all of your linkbuilding initially depending on how many sites you have. You could do this very cheaply on fiverr...just make sure you look for sellers with lots of positive reputation and reviews, or you could go to sites like elance, odesk etc to purchase backlinks once you've got quality, keyword optimized content on your sites.

I do agree that optimize press is a killer theme for making squeeze pages, sales pages etc and would be a wise investment. Last I checked it was $97, not sure if there's any discounts available out there or not.

You may want to also invest in a nice theme like thesis that you could use for your review sites as well.

I would spend the money on a website, an autoresponder, and some very light PPC campaigns that make money on it's own without intervention. After that, just put up a squeeze page, drive people there, capture leads, market to them via autoresponder, and wait for sales. Easy universal way to sell anything. Even the aliens do it.

For backlinking I would recommend investing in Unique Article Wizard and BuildMyRank. Also, if you choose to go with UAW, I would also invest in "The Best Spinner" to spin some PLR articles to submit. Hope this helps!

I've seen a lot of people on here suggesting SEO, website creation, and things of this nature.

Does anyone on this forum deal with CPA + Social Network marketing?

Get a mentor, and you'll have enough left over to start building a solid internet business.

Even if you already have a mentor, there's no harm in another one, some of the most reputable marketers are mentored by other marketers.

Don't try and go it alone, invest in a mentor with a proven system, but do your du-diligence, there are plenty of scammers out there, sadly even on here.

    Hope this helps

honestly every one has a diffremt point of view, I would save the $450.00 , spend $50 building back lins using fivver, look for edu back links with high ratings.

long term plan, build a link wheel

scrape box -> automated articles --> pro articles --> tier 2 blogs --> tier 1 blogs --> money site.
