Ok, What Happened to the WF? It's All Jacked Up!

Anyone else having the same problem as me? Somebody added all kinds of little icons and links tot he WF layout and they're not showing up correctly in Chrome or Firefox for me...and, yes, this is after clearing cookies. It's jacking it all up and even making the forum harder to read. Anyone else having these issues?

Same thing happened to me yesterday. It looked to me like cdn.warriorforum.com was down - all the images that were hosted there weren't loading but everything else was. I tried clearing cache, flushing dns, etc. but nothing worked. I just went to sleep, woke up, and it was all back to normal.

    Thanks, guys!

Still having the same issue. All of these little "tiles" everywhere there should be icons and such.

I was seeing some glitches yesterday but everything seems fine now.

CDN = Content Delivery Network, which means parts or all of the forum is being served using outside servers that are closer to your specific region to deliver pages faster to you while spreading the load across several locations. So what's probably happening is one of the servers closest to you is experiencing problems.

I write stuff for marketers and my current clients keep me comfortably
busy. But if you make me the right offer, I'll write stuff for you too.

Thanks, Paul. That seems to make more since. The network needs to start delivering the content properly!! ARGH!

I've been experiencing this for several months. Whatever I'm supposed to resolve to just isn't resolving.

Meanwhile, I went ahead and updated my windows host file to point cdn.warriorforum.com to warriorforum.com's ip. For those having issues with icons and other images showing up in your browser, try the following:

    On Windows:
    1. Go to My Computer, C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and open the "hosts" file in notepad
    2. At the bottom, add the following line (warriorforum.com resolves to 174.37.60.234):
    Code:
    174.37.60.234	cdn.warriorforum.com
    3. Save the file and try browsing warriorforum (You may need to restart your browser)

That got all my graphics back up for the time being. It may not work forever, but it at least fixes the issue until the CDN resolves properly in my area. (Or the warriorforum.com IP changes)

I've been seeing rainbow patterns, daisys and butterflies since I drank the Koolaid this morning but I don't think it has anything to do with the forum, does it?

It happens from time to time... I just ignore it and it always seems to go back to normal.

Yeah that happens to me every once in a while. Most of the time everything is normal.

That's what I accepted for awhile: that it would just resolve itself over time. But after a of month of broken images I setup my host file to look at something that actually works (the warriorforum.com IP.)

Just wanted to post my resolution if anyone else is having the problem as consistently as I was.
