Since the thread title doesn't specify on or offline...

I made my first dollar buying one-pound bags of chocolate for $0.59 and selling them door to door for a buck a bag. Stuff was obviously cheaper when I was eight years old. After that little adventure I was hooked on commerce of all types.

My first online buck was as an Amazon affiliate back in 1997.

When I started making money on the internet was through Adsense. But since then, I've followed the affiliate marketing trail and getting into CPA marketing as well. Since my adsense income was not enough to please me through the articles I was writing, I realized that I could get paid for my articles more than I was getting on Adsense.

So here I am growing up and still learning from people within this Forum each and every day.

I got slightly scammed by a $50 "marketing" eBook about 6 years ago. I say scammed because it was something like a very stretched out 20 pages and the only thing it taught was how to create an Adwords ad and put a Clickbank link in for direct traffic (not permissible anymore).

Still, I made that first sale and was like... wow REAL money! I made about 5 more sales, breaking even or losing a bit overall and finally gave it up but it was enough of a taste to convince me to keep going and find actual ways of making money via affiliate marketing.

I made my first $1 with a blackhat cpa technique....(I know I was a naughty boy for that) I tried the whitehat stuff for a while with no success, so then I decided blackhat was the way to go....AND I WAS RIGHT!!!!

Well I was right to an extent hehe

Yeah I made money with blackhat (I ended up making $1,500 that month, and actually got paid for it), but more importantly I figured out that I didnt make money becuase whitehat sucks I made money becuase I really stuck to it instead of reading how this is washed out...and that this is saturated...and this doesn't work anymore etc...

So I turned my ATTN away from bh and I focused and started making money the right way ever since

Me and a friend bought some tubes of cremes found at the veterinary pharmacies. They are meant for cows and contain lots of antibiotics. We used acetone to clear up the tubes from the original label, and applied a new label that went something like this: "Zit Eraser". We sold them for $10 each to the guys/girls that had acne.

Don't get me wrong, it works, but temporarily

Anyway we only sold about 3 or 4 so no damage done.

If I remember correctly I started off as an affiliate for Mike Dillard and made my first money with his company. Made a couple youtube vids and let'em fly! :-)

Made mine from freelancing. Creating websites, writing small programs. Then moved onto AdSense.
