Can someone tell me which service plan I should choose for prosper202 tracking using beyond hosting and should I get the dedicated ip?

or go with cpvlab?

    I am hosting Prosper on a Hostgator Baby Croc and it works okay. But I don't have thousands of clicks a day so your mileage may vary. Also I know for a fact that shared hosting performance varies a lot and sometimes it takes 2-3 seconds for a request to be processed. Which means in the end you might lose a sale because PPC->target page took too long. My stats tell me this doesn't happen very often though.

    If you have hosting already, why don't you try it first to see if it is fast enough? The beyond hosting rates were quite on the high site last time I checked.

    Ok I just found out from beyond hosting if you want a dedicated IP you have to get SSL on the domain.... lil fyi incase someone else wants to know.

    Also the staff there tells me that the domain you get with SSL has to be bought from Beyond hosting in order to be hosted on beyond hosting's servers.

    I asked because I have a aged domain with SSL cert on it and wanted to (it) use instead of buying a new domain.

    Far as the service plan heck I'm going with the starter plan for $45 a month its just money right?!

    Hey Zuriy3K,

    You dont need to get the SSL from Beyond Hosting - I am using another SSL cert - just need Beyond Hosting to create a CSR for you.

    Also, SSL requires a dedicated IP address. You can get a dedicated IP without an SSL cert.
