      It's like saying Article Marketing doesn't work, because you didn't think about using it as a doorway to publishers (instead of direct backlinks).

      Well, if you didn't know how to use something, that doesn't mean it's not a good thing to use! Amazon is one of the easiest platforms to earn money from.

      Clearly, you are asleep. And I say this without trying to sound rude or disrespectful.

      The key to Amazon is creating a review website!

    Amazon starts you at 4% commission - How is that good? Even with a product review site you do all the work to build quality content, bring the traffic in, convert them and then Amazon takes 96%. Is that equitable?

    There are lots of program you can join and promote other than the usual suspects. Sellhealth.com is a big one if you like to promote health products. The commissions are high.

    I'm thinking you should keep working on Amazon, but definitely test out different areas of affiliate marketing. Amazon has a lot of products but whats the commission rate? Like 4%? I think thats what it was when I was promoting.. lol

      One of the biggest keys is market research. Make sure to select a niche/product which is in demand and isn't saturated with competition.
      And enjoy the process...making that first Amazon sale will motivate you tremendously!
