How to get affiliate id to promote a Clickbank product?

Once you have logged in:

- Go to 'Marketplace'
- Browse through the programs
- Find one you want to promote
- Next to the offer name, click on the box that says 'Promote'
- Confirm your Clickbank username
- Hit Generate
- There is your affiliate link

I would recommend running it through a link shortener such as 'TinyURL.com - shorten that long URL into a tiny URL' so that people don't know that its an affiliate link.

Actually, when I see a tiny url being used in the IM community I always assume it is an affiliate link. I would probably use a redirect on one of your own domains so it's not as obvious to the unsuspecting eye. It also means you are in control of your own affiliate links. If you spend all the time promoting tinyurl.com links and one day they go bust then all of those affiliate links of yours will be dead.

Well said! I second that. Affiliate links are pretty much ugly and recognizable from a mile a way. Cloak your link and enjoy your promotion.

Sign up at clickbank.com. Then find the product you want to promote in their marketplace and click on it. It will show your encrypted affiliate link for the product.
