Can this technique make money?

You choose a Clickbank product to promote and get your affiliate id and get it shortened. You head to fiverr and buy 3-4 gigs from the social marketing section. Are there any chances of getting sales?

I don't know. Does it work? Sure, a lot of things work on the Internet.

But when I start a new idea. I think about this other important concept first.

If you are not thinking about how people can benefit from what you are doing, you are not going to succeed at doing it consistently. I imagine it's pretty terrible to be the person who uses some type of a trick or a system without giving any consideration to what his (or her) own clients are going to get out of it!

Sure it might work.. we had someone on these forums earlier who was asking "Did I do the right thing by giving away my money to someone who promised me sales?" (He already paid the guy, but got no sales).

Apparently that someone was a scam. But did it work? It did.

The question is one of ethical concern: Can you go to bed and sleep well knowing that you are ripping someone off or simply pursuing self interest (to make money)? Is this what you want to do in your life? Or do you want to pride yourself for offering the BEST content/product in the world?

It really does work. Buying gigs that are social and SEO-related can help you get targeted traffic for your cloaked affiliate link. But I think it really converts well if you have at least one domain with any extension.

I do agree with danlew. I have read many products that telling reader to
buy gigs like real facebook likes, social bookmarking service and etc. I
believes it works since a lot of people are using it.

Getting a product and a link shortened will not make you money.

I have no idea what kind of gigs you are talking about in the social marketing section, but my guess is that that alone will not make you money. Or won't make you any kind of substantial sustainable income.

Of course, the only way to really know if this will work or not is to just try it yourself.

Here is another question - why only clickbank? Why not try finding a product that is converting and that gives instant paypal payments? Then you don't have to worry about reaching a threshold in order to get paid. And if you find a winner, you can reinvest back into what ever fiverr gig immediately that gave you results.

Do we have any updates with this? As a side note, I do agree with several of the posts. I think that one of the problems with IM is that everybody is looking for a cheap trick to make money. Wondering if this is just a personal thing. Maybe I should actually try the simple approach. I will have to test this an see what happens.
