So I have been thinking about this for a while. As marketers, especially on here it seems that some know more than others, but for the most part we have similar knowledge bases. One of my challenges is thinking that everyone knows what I know and I have a hard time pricing my services. I know how to make money online, but I feel that everyone else does. I do make a pretty good living working on several of the freelance sites as a consultant. So my question is this, how hard is is to move from the online consulting world where I get customers relatively easy and the going into the local market? For those who consult to offline businesses is it easier to sell services? Do people know that sites such as Odesk/Elance exist? What has been your experience? I would really like to hear from those who started in the freelance business then went local.
Do we get in our own way?
