Is Fiverr Worth The Effort?

A lot of people have success. It depends on your niche and the gigs you are offering. Building up feedback, really helps. They appear to be making new changes with the levels, not sure yet if that will help.

You may need to promote your gigs, to get the ball rolling too.

I have earned around $ 150 in a month for posting content! It all depends on your gigs niche!

I think you need to treat it as a fun sideline, pay it some attention and see what happens. There are people willing to pay you more than a fiverr on multiple gigs - so it can work out. I've only completed one gig so far - but that's okay.

I'm currently making a small living from Fiverr so yes it is, I have split tested all different types of gigs in order to get to this point but it's paid off in the end.

The earnings just compliment my CPA earnings, it brings me in a decent amount of cash.

Point of the story is that if you think outside of the box, keep going at it and trying different things, anything is possible and you can certainly earn some good money from Fiverr.

It depends on the quality of your gig - and word of mouth. And, of course, the popularity of the niche.

BUT - if you deliver and over-deliver and provide REALLY great service, the grateful buyer will tag you and write a glowing review. The NEXT potential buyer will read that review and will be more likely to order a gig from you as well. If he/she too is blown away, you'll get another glowing review. As a result, your gig will keep climbing Fiverr's ranks. Additionally, MANY Fiverr users have their own "best of Fiverr" websites and if they love your gig they will put you up there.

I've made around $25,000 on Fiverr over the past 11 months - but - SOME of that was through direct approaches by people who bought my "cheap" fiverr gig and then wanted to get me to do more - outside of Fiverr. BUT - this is strictly against Fiverr policy so you need to be careful in those situations. I've resolved it by establishing a strong relationship with the Fiverr support staff and simply telling them that I'm constantly being pitched for "help" and unless Fiverr provides a system through which I can funnel these clients (and thus let Fiverr make more money on me), I will have to take them privately. After some back-and-forth, Fiverr stopped policing my account, LOL. Of the $25k only around $3k was made on JUST gigs over the past 11 months.

So - yes. You CAN make a pretty decent income from Fiverr. Additionally, it's a FANTASTIC tool for FOCUSING you. When you have to supply a GREAT service for a MERE 5 bucks, it really need to dig deep. When you do, you BENEFIT on many more levels than the 5 bucks is worth.

I would say, 'Yes' and 'No.'

Fiverr can be worth the effort if you offer quality gigs. In other words, over-deliver. I was offering my services as a freelance writer on Fiverr a few months ago and in 4 months I earned over $100. However I decided that Fiverr wasn't worth it because my services were worth waaay more than $5. So I stopped. These days I use Fiverr to sell my PLR articles and I make a sale every now and then. Works for me.

So is Fiverr worth it? I don't know. It's a question you would have to answer yourself based on what you think your services are worth.

You know you can market your gigs yourself right. You do not have to rely on fiverr for sales. Market your gig just like you would your website. Get some traffic to it.

In fact, whether you use Fiverr, Flippa, WSOs, or anything other business pathway - always take it one step beyond. That's the difference between 'just making it' and 'making a killing'!

Fiverr can be the beginning of great things...it is not a 'begin all, end all thing'. I am doing okay on fiverr - I choose to delete one of my gigs because it was making me too busy, I was getting too many orders and did not have enough time to complete them.

I have made some great friends through fiverr, and have also gotten a client that I am doing bulk work for now, outside of fiverr. If it had not been for fieverr, I would never have met this person.

So...I still get a few orders per week, which is perfect for me The secret to being successful on fiverr is to provide good customer service, over-deliver, always be on time, and have UNIQUE gigs! Like this: I will squidlike 10 of your Squidoo lenses, comment on them, Google +1 them, and submit them to StumbleUpon and Digg for you for $5 on fiverr.com - and this: I will manually submit 10 URLs to Stumble Upon and Digg, and will also Google Plus them for you for $5 on fiverr.com

I think my above post with my earnings screen shot, specifically points out that Fiverr is very much worth using, that is given the correct niches implemented of course. You just need to keep split testing with different things in order to make it work.

Fiverr can cumbersome if you do not understand how to go about it but read this and you understand the concept. The secret with fiverr is 1 list work that does not take you more 10mins to 1 hr max,most work should mostly be automated like using tools.e g you can submit site to social bookmark site with good tools that should not take you more than few minutes. So start searching your hardrive for tools you have that can be of help to other people. 2. Be creative with your gig title so that it will be attractive. 3. Another secret is list many gigs in one account. 4 sell all the valauble content you have on your system that you have rights to. 5. looks towards seo,linkbuilding,social media,traffic etc..and there are tools for this. If you follow all this points you will make money. Hope this helps.

Well, I'm making around $100 from it, and the total time I put into it is about 2 hours.

And most of it comes from a single gig. You need to make it popular and the sales will keep coming in.

It really depends up on the individuals. What they are selling and how demand is there of that product. Of-course you need to promote your Gigs in social networking site to get extra sales. If you don't want to promote your GIG. Just wait for few days, if you got few positive reviews from your customers, than automatically people will believe you and you will get more conversions from the Views.

The time and effort you have to get as many clients on Fiverr is considered to be both worth and useless. If you say its worthy, it means that your relationships through the value you have given continues to grow more. But if it's useless, that means your customers are not attracted with the service and can be considered as a waste of time.

I would say not... you can spent your time on building up something of greater earning potential... I mean, you are already on WF, there is plenty of information available around here and you can use it to build something more profitable... a single website or blog with quality content promoting affiliate products that you will build in same time you would otherwise spend on Fiverr could earn you much more money

Only if you want to lose your time... and you are a criminal.

Treat it as what it is! An additional income stream! If you can't complete your gig within a few mins then its too time consuming! Automation where possible is the key!

Fiverr has made some changes. You can earn more money now with their levels system.

Pretty easy to get up to level 1, and you can make an extra $10 on a gig with an add on.

If you're looking for a steady income, you should go over to outsourcing marketplaces instead. There, others will post projects according to their specifications and you bid on them. I know many people who depend on such sites for steady money. Fivverr is good if your gig is excellent (or ratings are good) - otherwise it can be a big waste of time.

My mentor got me into fiverr and I was quite surprised by the results. Not only do I sell my free reports on there and get great opt in rates at the same time. But it is also fantastic for offering them a taster on your services and then selling them an upsell.

Its a case of learning the ropes, testing it and repeating your successes.

Not Worth It..... Do some calculations.... Is it a good ROI on your time? Can you get a certain number of sustainable orders to pay some of your bills ??? Not sustainable..Right? They why shall we invest our precious time...

the real earners offer many services as much as 10 or more, and will always have someone sending them a job.....

I would say it's worth it if you have nothing better to do.

It's easy for newbies to start on and can make you pretty decent money in the first month IF marketed correctly. Yep, you CAN market your gig! I tried a few tricks on it, made around $500 with only one gig and stopped it as it was only a test to see if I too can do it



Simple tricks:
- use video on your gig page (hint: create a small video sales letter where they can ALSO see your face - makes them trust you easier and faster)
- after you already made a few sales: include in that video sales letter your portfolio (if possible) and previous feedback.
- promote your gig on forums, even make some media buys (if you know you can handle the growth)
- over deliver (try to make the original gig a service/product you can easily improve and over deliver on - eg: GIG:"I will write a 500 words article", DELIVER "Here's your 600 word article")

Fiver is certainly good, you can make money, but you can not get rich. Today it is more difficult because the competition is much higher, but if offer original gig (be more creative from others) you will have a solid sales.

I earn about $ 100 a month, not much but enough to cover the cost of my facebook ads.

I know several people who earn $ 1500 a month, but they began 2010.

When I was on Fiverr, the problem wasn't that I wasn't getting enough orders, it was that I was getting so many orders I couldn't keep up with demand, to the point that I was busting my ass day in and day out for peanuts.

If you spend 5-20mins to complete the gig, it's worth
Otherwise you are missing a profit.

I think if you enjoy what it is your doing, getting paid for it is a bonus.

Sure it can be a great money making method if you offer something IN DEMAND and treat it as a BUSINESS. this is the key.

It depends what you do. There are people who make near a grand a day on fiverr. I did it back at the start to get some money that i could invest into things like SEO services.

Yes I am making decent income with fiverr, it is all about offering more value than the other similar gigs. If possible, offer an express gig (24 hour delivery) this will make you stand out more. That is how I got my start, now I have repeat customers and was able to add a longer lead time.

As a fairly new buyer of services at fiverr here is what I'd suggest to increase your odds of getting me as a customer.

1. Obviously, the more positive reviews you have, the better. I'd recommend promoting your gigs to drive traffic to your offers if possible until you've got some. I've had too many disappointments in the past being the Guinea Pig. I'm not familiar with Fiverr's policies but maybe you could offer two gigs for the price of one to the first few buyers or something like that.

2. Again obviously, the fewer negative reviews the better. I'd recommend putting something in your post where you tell the customer what they need to provide about how you want them to be satisfied and will take action to satisfy them in order to eliminate negative reviews.

3. Don't promise 3 day delivery unless you can complete the gig in three days. I personally don't mind waiting an extra day or two for a great gig but I've noticed that most of the negative reviews for great gigs are "Seller failed to deliver on time". Some of these were probably due to the gig being delivered to the recipient's spam folder so be careful not to include spam words in your reports.

4. If you are producing something such as videos, graphic design, banners, ebook covers, etc. for God's sake include a sample in your gig! It amazes me that some guys tell you what a fine video they are going to make you but you can't see a sample!

5. Offer gigs that are a value and not something useless. Now I'm not going to say what I feel are useless gigs because I know I'll get a bunch of trash talk from the people here who sell them. Let's just say that I've been around for a while and guys like me won't buy nonsense no matter how good you make it sound.

6. In keeping with the previous point, don't make ridiculous claims. No! I don't believe that you will get any profitable keyword to page one of Google for five bucks. Those kind of claims are a big red flag to me and I can assure you that I'll be passing up your gig.

The gigs I've bought recently are things that I know work but I hate doing them. Here's a partial list:

I will submit your article to the top ten article directories.

I will submit your article to 3000 directories.

I will write an article targeting your keywords of up to 500 words that will pass copyscape.

I will submit your url and three keywords to 90 social bookmarking sites.

I will deliver 700+ likes to your Facebook page. (I realized these were bots. I just wanted visitors to a new fan page to think I had been around for a while)

I will rewrite your article in my own words (no spinner) up to 600 words.

I will make a video of your slogan, logo or website url on the Moon as it rotates and passes by through space. (That one I got simply because it was cool!)

So I wish all you Fiverrs success! The more I have to choose from the better. I'm currently on a mission to dramatically increase my outsourcing so I'm sure I'll be buying lots of additional services both here and there in the future.

I wouldn't do a fiverr gig! I buy them all the time, I just think my time is better spent doing other things. That will make me more money!

Hello my friend, I get quite alot of orders on fiverr. I would say it is worth it. The key is to try to get that all important thumbs up testimonial for every order you get. The coolthing with fiverr is that when you over deliver you actually get rewarded with more traffic to your gig. When someone makes an order always say could you please leave a nce testimonial if you liked the work. 9 times out of 10 they will as long as you over deliver with value...

Also always keep an eye out on the right hand column for people posting requests for work. If you find someone offering what you can do then send them a direct message.I think that is pretty powerful. Also find a really good gig extention for one of your gigs and then you could be getting orders of up to $15 not just five.

Stick at it be really polite (not saying you would`ent) offer great value and dont be afraid to approach people there if youi think you can do something they want...

You don't have to lose anything using fiverr. You can sell anything you thing you can offer for five dollars and at the same time make some clients fast. I use fiverr and i am satisfied for the responses i have.

Of course fiverr is worth it.

You just need to find the right market, improve the offers and offer a quality service that is in demand.

Fiverr is definitely worth it for buying gigs. I use it all the time.

I can't really see myself ever selling on there. I live in the UK and $5 wouldn't barely buy me a loaf of bread!

The only way to use fiverr to sell is if you either have a lot of time or if you can easily systemise your process and churn out high quality results in less than 10 minutes via software or outsourcing.

Otherwise, I would leave well alone.

I personally gave up on it.

Not because I couldn't make money, but because it took up too much of my time.



It's a great method for someone beginning, or who really needs extra money.

Oh, and it's an excellent method of outsourcing in some instances.

Yes. It's an extra market and some fresh eyeballs on your product / services.

fiverr is any other website, it would work for you if you know what you can do and sell without consuming much of your time.

This beside, don't forget you need to advertise you gig, with high competition, it is tough to sell something when you are new and hundred of top rated sellers are selling the same job

I believe it's really about the quality of the gig you offer and how much you relate to the people that are seeing it. Fiverr is a site that everyone browses really fast and you have only a short window of time to make them interested. Maybe you could switching up your descriptions to be more direct and short. Show them the results they will get in a very basic way instead of trying to fancy it up. Have you tried adding youtube videos?

My tip: don't rely on Fiverr alone. Depending on the niche/s also promote your services on here and digital point.

Yeah it's definitely worth it! find a service that is unique and in demand or even a offer that already exists but just beat your competition out. If people are offering testimonials at 1 minute do them yourself at 2 minutes. I would buy it .

I spend at least $500 a month on fiverr gigs for article writing, backlinking and video creation and I know a hell of a lot of other marketers who spend a similar amount so there is money to be made on there just about choosing a gig that is needed!

Whoops forget to mention...Testimonials are hot right now So if your comfortable in front of the camera then jump on that, you'll definitely get some regular orders and Hell, if your good at them I'll order your gig myself !

Fiverr is one of those tools that everyone has but few know how to use.

There are MANY creative ways to use fiverr and use it to create MASSIVE profits in unique ways.

A close friend of mine who i spoke to just launched a website selling e-book covers for $199.

Does he design ebooks? No he purchases them from fiverr.

Yes...look what the top gigs are and try to do similar gigs because there's a high demand for them.

I would test different niches and different services. I think alot of marketing strategies that people say "dont work" actually do work.
