How do I get click in, click thru data for my WP site?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how to get important click-in and click-thru stats on my WP site. Google Analytics has referrer urls but I need something that tells me which exact links ppl are clicking to get to me and in what numbers. Also I need to know how ppl are leaving, ie using which of my merchant links. BTW I am in affiliate marketing. Thanks!

    Hi Perfect,
    Have you try using your Awstats in your cpanel? They pretty much collect all kinds of data for your site. I use it to analyze my site data especially in terms of traffic.

    Just login to your cpanel and click on the Awstats (in the Log section).

    Hope this helps.

    You can also install and use Google Webmaster Tools. They have cool tracking options.

    What cpanel host are you using...you should see it in your cpanel on your awstats and it also tells you which url your visitors are leaving from.

      Thanks for ur reply. Erm I am new to this when you say which cpanel host am I using does that refer to my shared hosting...sorry! AWstats is software that analyses server log info right? Cheers!

    Use the Google Analytics plugin for Wordpress. WordPress › Google Analytics for WordPress « WordPress Plugins

    You NEED this.
    And some of the G Webmaster Tools info is integrated now.
