Hi All,

Is there any WSO out there currently that is similar to Simple Spencers one that is now closed, regarding getting very cheap/free ad clicks on facebook?

Im really desperate for something that can educate me about how to achieve these very cheap clicks

thanks a million

    Hi

I was going to recommend another WSO but it is also closed.

As facebook becomes a more competitive ad platform, ad costs increase because you are competing against more advertisers that want the space. It gets tougher and tougher to find those "one cent" clicks.

Here are some tips to lower ad costs:

Send traffic to a fanpage. You get much cheaper clicks from facebook if you keep the traffic on facebook. This is also a very effective way to grab your market. Don't send them off to a squeeze page and hope they opt in (many will just hit the 'back button' to return to facebook) , send them to a fanpage they can 'like' while staying on facebook. Use the page to brand your business or promote CPA offers.

Create small market slices using demographics. When creating your ad, keep getting more targeted until your ad exposure is more focused. Add gender, age, regional info, and subject likes to reduce the numberof people who will see the ad. Then create many ads to cover the different hyper-targeted segments of your market. A good place to start is somewhere like Quantcast where you can find the key demographic for your market and target it with facebook. If 90% of your target market is women over 30, then don't display your ads to 21 year old men.

Dig out less competitive keywords. Look for keywords of related things that people might be fans of that you can use to target your niche market. A good tip is to add well known experts names as keywords. If you know your niche, you should know the "players" that fly under the radar outside of the niche, but who may be "liked" a lot by customers in that market.

Names like "Jenny Craig" and "Steve Jobs" are too well known outside their markets. For example, if you are selling a diet product- look for people who are fans of "Mike Geary" not "Jenny Craig". Do you sell horror fiction on Kindle? Target "Amanda Hocking" fans, not "Stephen King".

Tweak and improve your campaigns. It is useful to have many small segments for ads so you can kill a bad campaign if it is performing poorly and imitate a campaign that is successful. Split-test ads. Remember to only change one thing (image, text, url, colour, etc) between the two ads so you can see if the change makes a performance improvement.

I hope some of that helps.
