Help...site not indexed by Google after more than a month?
One of my sites is not getting indexed by Google. By this I mean when I search for "site:www.mysite.com" in Google, nothing is showing up.
I already have the site in Google Analytics & Google Webmaster Tools. Google Webmaster Tools isn't reporting any issues. I've tried the following:
Anyone experienced this before or know what the issue could be?
- It's been over a month since I first bought the site (domain name off Namecheap & hosting off Hostgator).
- I have over 15 other sites with similar design and structure, and all of them have always been indexed within 1 or 2 days. Hosting is shared with these other sites as well.
- The content on my site is relatively unique; I do quote some sentences from other websites, but I've done this on pretty much all of my other sites before with no issues.
I already have the site in Google Analytics & Google Webmaster Tools. Google Webmaster Tools isn't reporting any issues. I've tried the following:
- resubmitting my sitemap.xml manually twice. Google Webmaster Tools accepts it and reports "14 URLs submitted, 0 URLs in web index".
- checked my site's robots.txt. Nothing seems to be wrong there.
- continued building links (social bookmarking, RSS feed, Youtube video, some automated article marketing, again, all of which I always do with my other sites)
Anyone experienced this before or know what the issue could be?
