Do you give your visitor what he WANTS or what he NEEDS?
If you stick to the rule that "It's always better to give QUALITY and to actually help the user" then you are actually more into giving the user what he needs.
In the other hand, the client/visitor will feel much more satisfied from your service if you give him what he WANTS (Even if he doesn't really know what's better for him)
