Aweber VS Mailchimp for Affiliate marketing?

I'm new to the world of auto-responders/opt-ins. Out of the two, which one is better in terms of: cost, ease of use, features, customer service etc...

I've read that Mailchimp's T.O.S. does not allow affiliate marketers - is that actually true?

If you're only trying to decide between those two then yes definitely aweber. Also, you're right that it's against Mailchimp's TOS - I've heard of people losing their lists. No matter what autoresponder service you go with I'd recommend exporting your list ever so often as a backup.

Affiliate marketing is against Mailchimp's terms of service. If you do it anyone it's likely your account (and all your subs) will dissapear one day. Poof!

I've been with Aweber for around 5 years now with no problems.

There is also getresponce.com If you want another to compare

    It certainly is true.

This thread, and this thread, and this thread all explain why Mailchimp should generally be avoided.

Also, if you do any affiliate marketing (or any of the many other things they don't like), even if you don't do it/them at Mailchimp, you can still lose your account and your list(s) there, as explained here.

I'd actually strongly suggest avoiding a "free" autoresponder altogether, for all the reasons explained here.

Please excuse the observation that it would have taken you less time to look at Mailchimp's TOS, yourself, than it took to start a thread. They're not very long! If you're planning to do business with people, you have to be willing to read their TOS, you know? Otherwise you'll eventually have some disaster, for sure.

    Again?

Please, folks, use the search feature. Or just look through the first few pages. It's unusual for this not to be covered on a weekly basis.
