Died And Gone To Heaven

Wow, I love to discover new useful resources that have the chance to make my life easier and more organized. So imagine how excited I was today to discover a list of 230+ resources for online business owners :-)

Check out this list for plenty of great tools worth adding to your favorites...

ONLINE BUSINESS TOOLBOX: 230+ Tools for Running a Business Online

I personally like the idea of the business management software where I can keep everything for my business - contacts, files, tasks and more all in one place rather than fragmented across a range of different services.

Enjoy!

Richard

P.S. Be careful - I was checking out the resources for half an hour before I gained control again and got on with some more work... :-)

      Richard,

That's a pretty good motivational site to recommend. Online businesses can be frustrating at times, but there are really A LOT of resources on the internet, that its insane. Seems like you are taking the right approach in doing the research, and if I were you, I would start following some of the leaders in this industry and follow what they are doing, and find out where they are going and test their advise with ACTION. Nice post and good luck in your endeavors.

      Imran,
I dont get the title of this thread
It's an expression. To say, "I thought I'd died and gone to Heaven" means you've found yourself in a situation with an overabundance of things you really like. The title makes perfect sense if you know the expression, and none at all if you don't.

      Imran,

You never heard the phrase of having "died and gone to heaven"? Or you don't understand why I used it? Mmm, weird. I just meant how excited I felt to have found this great list of top resources that have the potential to help us manage or grow our online ventures. It's a great list with plenty of potentially beneficial resources that I hadn't heard of before.

      All the best,
      Richard

This is the future. All applications will eventually be online. It is more cost effective and efficient.

People were saying that back in 1999 too. We're in the beginning of the bursting of the Web 2.0 bubble. It's only a matter of time before a lot of these companies start shutting their doors.

Before you trust your business (i.e. give them your data and change your procedures) to a free service, think about what would happen if their VCs pulled the plug and they shut down.

Myself, I give a heavy preference to open source solutions that I can load on my own servers. Lacking that, I want to see a sustainable business model from any companies that I consider becoming dependent upon. If you can't quickly figure out how they're making money, they probably aren't.
