About a year or so ago, I paid this freelancers company to do an integration for me where they guaranteed a 24 hour turnaround. Of course it didn't get done in that amount of time.
After 72 hours he responded back saying he was just starting and that his dad had passed away the day before I ordered so he was dealing with a lot. I understood and he completed the project and got paid.
So I paid his company for an integration again last week. Now tell me this. How did his dad die twice? Yes, he used that same excuse last week for not completing the project on time. Ridiculous - and that's a pretty messed up thing to lie about.
Lesson: If you're going to lie to customers, you can't use the same lie twice for the same customer lol
