What services would you package for these two types of OFFLINE busineses?

I have been doing a lot of reading on offline gold, but different nuggets are spread out over so many different threads and posts, that it is hard to catalog them.

There is a lot of info on marketing to offline businesses, but not a lot of info on the services to provide them.

With that being said:

What services would you offer to businesses with NO website?

What services would you offer to businesses that DO have websites?

Also, packaging and pricing would be helpful, too.

This question could take weeks to answer...

For the first group, start with offering them a website.

Now that that they have one, they are in the second category.

To them, some of the quickest, easiest things are setting their site up with an opt in capture and autoreponder series. You can sell either the set up, or (better) the set up and the managment of the email campaigns for them - give them something as hands off as possible. Offer some creative ways/suggestions to the owners on ways to get opt ins. If you can't do these yourself, you can outsource them.

Once you get these basics down, there are some other things you can offer (if you are skilled at any of this or can outsource), starting with basic SEO, managing adwords/PPC campaigns, blog setups, setting up pages for them on social sites (do a squidoo lens, etc..).

There's lots more, as you have surely read in the resources you mentioned, but this is a pretty good start.

Most of them will definately need an email list. Then do some SEO, video, blogging, ppc etc.

      Cheers

That's what I was looking at. Then I saw a thread on offering content. I will have to look into that as well.

        Thanks!

Pricing is going to be difficult to say because it will vary based on the user and how much they want to have done. It will also vary based on your own experience. For example, selling to a large school or university, you will be able to make more money than if you are selling to a mom and pop bagel shop. In addition, your own experience and credentials will count: do you have a degree in marketing, computer science, web design, etc? If so, you will be able to ask for more money.

I think one of the things many companies, online or offline, will ask for is an ecommerce site, but be careful, since these can be difficult to run and prone to problems!
