It' like creating a sales letter on selling any other product, just copy any sales letter design and writte details about the website that you are selling.

      How about getting traffic?
      Any tips on that part?

I have my first Flippa listing ending in 3 days and it's not getting many views.
Have you found the highlight & stuff effective?
I know that Featured gets it on the front page for a while, but at $50 that's a lot if it still doesn't make it's reserve,
      Cheers, Jillian

Pimped out is pretty to the eyes, but at the end of the day, in my experience, what people want is a viable asset.

Something they can see potential in or see themselves stepping into your project, taking it over, and making some money with it.

It's going to boil down to what your words say, not how they look!

The first thing your potential prospect will see is your title! That is going to bring all your traffic, then it is what you say in your listing that will convert that traffic into bids!

My suggestion... Make your title as appealing as possible by:

Asking yourself what are the biggest selling points of this site? Then turn those selling points into benefits.

(Selling points) i.e. runs on autopilot... steady traffic or income

(Benefits) i.e zero hours required.. earn money immediately

also "No Reserve" is a great traffic puller.

If you are not comfortable with no reserve then "Fast Sale" is an alternative.

Your title's order of importance should be crafted like this:

Money, Traffic, Income Source, other benefits (In that order)

Here's an example of two successful auctions I had..

Established Full Business System! 2500 Plus Subscriber List Included NO RESERVE

Zero Hours Required Making $18.95/Month Str8 To Your Paypal As is! HOT Market!

        Hope that helped! :-)

It's true that people want facts about your site more than they do pretty fonts and colors. But if you want to make certain things in your listing stand out to draw attention, Flippa's interface does offer some basic tools, such as bold, italics, underline, and color for your text. You can use some of these things and mix things up a bit in your listing to draw the eyes of potential buyers to what you want them to see.

I was hoping someone would come behind me and say that! I wanted to drive home the point "substance" of your words... If you've got some "Pimped Out Substance" now you're cooking with Gas!
