Targeting Other Countries

First, is it worth targeting places like India if you have a product you think may be popular there? I'm under the assumption the majority of people in India don't make much money, but people with little money are often those willing to spend it to try and make more right? I'm not trying to exploit anyone, just saying.

Secondly, what are some ways to go about doing it? How do you deal with language barriers?

    India is a good place to target, moreso than China etc where language does become a more serious problem. The thing with India is that the culture of buying stuff online hasn't really taken off... you could see this as an advantage or a disadvantage. It is not near as saturated as some developed countries. But with more than a billion people in India, with the right products, you should not go wrong I feel.

    If you don't have a product, you can always go with Adsense, which works no matter which country you're targeting with your keywords.

    Just make sure to check out the CPC of your keyword FOR THAT COUNTRY

    As an Indian I would like to discuss this topic and would like to share my openion about this topic,
    You know that Indian population crossed 120 crore.and If I am right Indians are 3rd in Internet usage.
    When Considering Language, the peoples who concentrates on language is very less .most of the peoples are some what Okay with English and the peoples putting queries in search box English only.
    You don't want to worry about language if you are concentrating on India
