Do people make more money in IM niche than others?

Hi friends,

Actually I started my IM journey last year. I was targeting the ex back niche then. Sure, I made few thousand dollars. Biggest mistake, I didn't made a list. I became lazy, spent all I earned and now I am back to where I started.

Except I have some experience. Recently when I joined Warrior Forum. I can see most of the big earners and gurus are all targeting money making niche.

My question, is the possibilities of making money is more in IM and how?

Thank you guys,

Although I have just started a new review site that you can check in my sig. How should I go about it?

The main reason it looks like all the "big earners and gurus" are targeting the make-money niche is because the people here generally have one thing in common - they want to make money.

It's the "Internet Marketing Warriors Forum - where we talk about making money."

If this were the "Internet Gerbil Ranchers Forum", it would likely appear that the heavy hitters were all targeting the how to raise gerbils market.

In the grand scheme of things, the IM and MMO markets are relatively small, and even many of the so-called gurus are making more in other markets.

You've experienced it yourself. Even doing things in a less than optimum way, you made a few thousand dollars in a decidedly non-IM market.

      Thank you John, nice explanation.

Actually, my old sites I think were hit by Google plenty. I had made just 3 of them (all reviewing a ex back product). I am working on them for more than a month with no results and very less commissions.

I am looking for a new niche. I have seen people building their list through WSO Offers section. This time I'll go after money making niche as people I hope to find prospects here too.

Won't repeat my mistakes and surely build a huge list this time

Don't shoot the messenger but you did ask for opinions, however...

I think you are making a very common marketing mistake.

*Trying to be everything to everyone.*

This will always end up you being nobody to anyone.

You are trying to review products from several niche's.

The result: The website is not trust worthy.

    - Business people will go to business websites
    - Health people will go to health sites
    - Singles will go to dating sites.

    ======
    Solution
    ======
    1. Choose a niche you are the most passionate in
    2. Create an authority review website around that niche only

Sorry to P**S on your parade but I want to help you
and not give you false hope.

Thanks Nathan, that's a very good advice

Yeah, I made out you are correct. I'll take care of it in near future.

OP, nobody can answer the question posed in your thread title without knowing the average incomes of marketers in every niche.

So, do people make more money in IM than other niches? I have no idea.

In just about every niche, there are both newbs and big earners. Becoming a big earner in any niche is more important than being in IM specifically.

Yes Jon, Thank you, its better to be the biggie irrespective of the niche.

Actually, I was on JVNotifyPro. While going through a JV invitation page. I saw some guys making big money with every product launches. It was really overwhelming.

Do you tell me where can I find about the product launch of other niche products??

The most profitable niche is without a doubt... porn. After that i would say, health related stuff, poker and financial stuff like mortgages/credit score etc. The IM niche is also very profitable. But just like all profitable niches it's also very saturated. That means that you will probabaly have to work much harder to make money, though the money that you earn will be more than in a small niche.

You have skills and talents, and have done very well. Honestly, I mean it seriously and literally - I'm not trying to be funny: I'm surprised you made a few thousand in that niche without list-building. Well done. Add in list-building and it might take off, dramatically?

The important words there are "I can see".

That's what one sees here, because it's an internet marketing forum, and all those people come here because so many their customers are here. It doesn't prove any more than that.

It's a funny old trade, internet marketing. Sometimes one never sees the niches of the people earning the most, and has no way of knowing what they're really promoting.

No, not at all; they just make more noise about it than anyone else. Nobody can convincingly prove/disprove it either way, anyway, but that's my theory.

    Just my opinion

If you start off "IM" in the IM field you are stupid...I know some ppl will catch feelings about that but its just true. And thats why they never get anywhere

The real money isnt in the IM field unless you are are like in the top 1%

The internet marketing techniques work like a charm in every other niche...IMers can see through a lot of the tactics....Why???? Because we were taught them, sometimes by the same people who are trying them on us.

You can use these same type of tactics on 20+ niches at the same time. Yes you probably will only be able to charge the same prices as a start up IMer (up to like $100)

    But that cash adds up..

Not to mention outside niches dont even know what a JV is...You can monopolize the market if you know what you are doing

And once you dominate at least 1 niche you can start "IM" in the IM field and be successful

But you still wont make more money in Iming than in the other niches

Thanks, I am actually getting a lot of new ideas just talking to you all here. That's kinda great

Certainly I think, I should go on with my older niche as I have a gud experience (with a list this time) and also I wud like to give IM a go too.

From what I know, many big players in IM go for another niche after a while. I think it's because it's too competitive for such a small market (comparing to the big ones).

But whether you can make more money in IM than in other niches in general? Ask some of the big players. They might answer your question. I think they don't.

Just want to thank all of you, really helped me to get some valuable insights and encouraged me to begin with a new project.

    Finally what I have decided,

    1. I'll get a new domain. Start again with what I am good at. (ex back niche - I made money with it)

    2. Prepare a report using my old articles and starting building a list.

    3. Review ex back products and post informational articles frequently.

    4. Don't get lazy.

    5. After making good money, maybe I can sell a WSO or 2 here.. lol

Will carry on with my current review site too. Will see what I can get out of it.
