SOPA and PIPA will Die - Great Job all that helped!

I just found an article I felt should be shared. It stated how the White House opposes the SOPA and PIPA bills and that the surge over the weekend from people LIKE US, here in the forum has made a difference.

Some of us have contacted every person we know along with our representatives, so if you have not yet, you need to get on board or we may lose many of the sites we love on the internet.

    Don't stop protesting, petitioning, and sounding off until after it is voted down. We were told that NDAA would be vetoed until just before it was passed. Had we known what that bill contained beforehand we could have put, and kept pressure on until it was defeated. If we'd known we were being lied to about the veto we still could have stopped it. We believed what we were told and relaxed. Now we have no habeas corpus. We can't afford to make the same mistake twice. DON'T get fooled again.

      Right on! Politicians don't always do what politicians say they are going to do!

      Keep on making noise, right up to the moment the Bill dies.

      Call your Congressmen!!! I can't stress that enough. Congressmen serve short two year terms and are ALWAYS campaigning for the next election. I worked in the news world long enough to meet many of them and I know they DO listen to what call ins have to say!

      Call their offices EVERY DAY until the vote happens. Tell your friends to do the same!

    Funny -- I haven't heard one damned mention yet about OPEN. Apparently Paul Myer (Alan's link) is right about them continuing to bring it back until they get the drift we aren't having any of it whatsoever.

    Remember that the reports you are getting are nothing but Main Stream Corporate owned Media at work, they are not acts of Congress.
