The best was to start making money is to determine what your niche is first...When you know what your niche is then you can focus on the subject area that you can build your list around and how you want to grow your business...

Many people get frustrated with finding your niche first...
So I want to offer some help in you finding out what your niche is...

Here's how I found mine...

I was heartbroken about a girl breaking my heart. I tried everything to get her off my mind. What I had discovered was that there was one thing that seemed to take me away from it all when I thought about it...for me that was making money online...period...

All I think about everyday is either making money online or playing music on my keyboard. Other people think about sports, or electronics or cars...Whatever it is that takes you away when you don't even realize it, I want to submit to you that is your Niche!!!

No matter how silly the Niche may seem, if you are an expert in the field you can always make money. You will be enthused in your area...and being enthused will always spark creativity.

Hope this helps someone...

Well the best way to find your niche is too go in the field in which you really have good knowledge that will keep you going and motivated. Else going into some others field just get some bucks will let you to failure.

Yep, the warrior above is right.

You should always look for niches you have the most knowledge about. This way you'll know your way out. Choosing even the most profitable niche, you're surely gonna have it hard, because you have no clue about so you may not even do the research right.

It's just, stick what you're best. That's a guaranteed way to succeed than any other way.

    Good luck!

Just make sure they're spending money on that niche and are accustomed to spending money.

That's one of the reasons why people use golf as an example all the time. Think how much it costs just to buy a set of clubs, golf balls, shoes and play your green fees! That's hundreds of dollars right there before you even hit a ball so another $50 on how to play well is nothing. Plus they're all addicts!

Someone commented in a thread related to finding the right niche and explained it very well. When you are deciding for what niche to go, the reason why so many people tell you to choose something that you are passionate about is because that would keep you to work on that website for the next 2 months when you won't make even $1.

So it's not because you are an expert in that field, but because otherwise you won't be able to keep up the work and you would give up. My advice go for something you are passionate about so that you will stick to it until the winning end.

That's good advice, but I do think we have to see it from all points of view. It depends on how you want to make money. There are different ways and if you're looking to do something in the long-term, it should be something you have passion for - unless it's something that's easy to make money and doesn't take too much of your time (if it does, it's better that the topic is something you love). So if you're gonna do an authoritative site, then obviously it's better if you're passionate about it.

However, you can make money in the short-term in an area you don't have any particular interest in - but you seize the opportunity. And also, the area you have interest in, it may not exactly be feasible due to competition, etc.

So definitely go into an area where your passion lies, but I don't think that's the full story and we can't expect to make money just because your passion lies there.

I will suggest that you should choose your niche build on what do you like and you think you can write about it.
