less active on Twitter and engage less. That's why
I have less interaction there.

I agree that the post has no value though. OP could you give some advice as to how other warriors here can get more followers?

I think I'm close to 20k, been using the 'follow for follow' method, providing good content, and interacting with my followers as much as I can. I find the more I interact with people the more my tweets get RT'd. Also I believe I'm at the point where if I stop following people, I'll still gain new followers consistently. But I still do it to speed things up, there's a direct connection with the number of followers I have and the amount of traffic I receive from Twitter. Seems obvious but some people don't see the point in getting more followers.

  Perhaps answers these questions may help:
  
  1) How on earth do you have so much content? Are users submitting suggestions or do you have a source for unlimited postings...
  
  2) what 2 or 3 things have you learnt along your journey that would make you change your method should you need to start again.
  
  A little history of the account would also be interesting. Why you had the idea, how you started, how long it took etc... or perhaps that is just because i like success stories.

I just recently started paying attention to gaining followers on Twitter.. The fact of the matter is, I just don't use it that often. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 followers now.

I've been trying to focus more on just making "jump on board" type content, but it's actually quite difficult. If you can come up with things that make people want to say "Yeah! I agree with that!" or "Yeah, me too!" you tend to get more RT and more @ replies.

I dunno, I'm still pretty clueless on the Twitter thing. 1.3MM is very respectable though.

The next step is filtering them to business twitter acc.
