Question about trademarks & domain names

I am fully aware that if I create a site with this sort of domain I will end up losing it: wwwdotmakemoneywithamazonassociatesdotcom

But what if it were wwwdotmakemoneywithassociatesdotcom instead? Surely the word "associates" alone is OK? Obviously I do not know, otherwise I would not be seeking reassurance here. :p

Any help would be very appreciated!

  • That is completely ok. Associates is a generic word.
  • you should have no problem with this it all! brand names are forbidden when they mislead people to think you are the brand owner and that is not the case

Nothing wrong with associates. It's pretty generic
  • You can register your domain using the word associates without a problem. Just be sure to stay away from brands - that's when you'll have a problem.
