Ezine Articles - Is it down?

Been trying for 2 days to get on ezinearticles.com, tried on 3 different machines, is it just me or has anyone else had the same problem.

Thanks

    Works fine for me.

Maybe try cleaning your system with CCleaner (free download) and see if that will clean your system up and you can again access the site.

Have no idea if that would help or not, but just a thought.

    Hi Kevin,

Strange that Kevin - I'm on TalkTalk at the moment, not Three - haven't got access to it now, but must be a TalkTalk thing - I've tried 3 computers now - at least you know it's not just you (or me!).

I've also had problems accessing ezine articles. My provider was talktalk, coincidentally we changed out broadband to sky and I can access the site again now.

Don't know if there is a connection or not?

Cheers for that Pete - I know EzineArticles is working because I can get to it using proxify.com - sounds like it's a TalkTalk problem.

I know it's not my choice of browser - I've tried 3 different browsers and three different laptops, so it sounds like the ISP. Thanks BTW helperbee!

Could be on the FED's list of content sharing... LOL

Could be a IP thing that you ISP is not allowing it.

Try searching How to Bypass Website Blocked by ISP

This happen to my own website one time, I thought it was down.

Back again - got my Three dongle working, same laptop, same browsers - Ezinearticles is now working fine, so it must be a TalkTalk problem, although, not sure what we can do about it fellow TalkTalk users!

No Kevin, works fine. They have a new design My.EzineArticles.com!
If you are blocking your IP access of your computer, it may cause this problem. See, Ezine Articles requires your IP address to load the website.

I am also cannot access ezinearticles from UK.I guess talk talk has some router cache problem.Once I could not access my personal site and they told me to restart my router and it worked. If you are using a wireless router then restart it first to see if it works, otherwise give a call to talk talk

Can you TalkTalk guys/gals access EZA through its IP: 216.235.79.13 ?

If so, it's a DNS problem.

If not, and it's only TalkTalk customers, it's probably a routing problem. A "tracert 216.235.79.13" in Command Prompt under Windows might show up where the problem's at (* * * 's = time-outs).

If it's a routing problem, there's nothing much you can do (except perhaps connect through a VPN?); it's your ISP's issue to sort out.

Working fine on my end. You may want to flush then register the DNS settings on your computer. Or manually type in a new IP address and DNS server address instead of using DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol).

    Tried different browsers and machines.

My ISP is The Utility Warehouse. I wondering now if they are using the Talk Talk network.

I had the same problem with talktalk not allowing ezinearticles and a couple of other sites not to load. I fixed the problem by changing to google public dns, if you know how to change the dns servers the numbers are 8.8.8.8 and the alternative is 8.8.4.4. If you don't know the guide is here Using Google Public DNS

Hopefully this fixes the problems like it did for me.

    Hi All

Just for an update, i have been on to TalkTalk engineers this morning, TalkTalk are aware that there is an issue with this problem, they said it was only in the UK, but their engineers are already working on it, and should be sorted by the weekend....did'nt say which one though.lol

So now we know, hope this helps everyone.

I am also with talktalk and having problems accessing Ezine & Goarticles. It has been plkaying up for about a week now. The DNS keeps droping out. We thought it was our router but thats fine.

I should have read the latest posts since I was last on this thread before phoning TalkTalk today. Spoke to a girl at technical support...bottom line was she tried to make out the problem was my router and that it needed upgrading which I would have to pay for! Somehow I just knew it wasn't to do with my router and luckily got cut off after 40 long minutes on the phone with her.

Same here, Ezine and Goarticles. YES, I USE TALKTALK AS WELL. WHAT A SHAME. THIS NETWORK IS REALLY NOT SUITABLE FOR INTERNET MARKETERS.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF CALLING THEM. THEY ALWAYS HAVE ISSUES WITH SLOW CONNECTION AS WELL. I AM ACTUALLY CHANGING TO ANOTHER NETWORK.

If you can't get onto places like Ezine Articles or GoArticles then it's not just a problem for you. It also means that all your potential readers (and customers) that use TalkTalk won't be reading any of your articles either. Could be a problem for people targeting UK traffic.
