Help With Making A Logo

Hi guys,

Can anyone give me advice on putting a logo (line graphic) together easily?
I need step by step cos i'm a technophobe lol.
Using free tools too.
I have 3 bits of graphic that i want to create my logo with and then somehow
make the line graphic into one colour?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I can't understand well your description of the logo that you want.

But I think you can easily create it on your own using the free tool at Photo editor online / free image editing direct in your browser - Pixlr.com

A free tool that I use is "Paint.NET" ... available at that web address :-).

I can't quite understand what you're asking for with regards to your logo, but this program can edit pictures in a multi-layer format and then save them as .png which should be perfect for your needs.

Download it and give it a try. It's pretty good for a free program!

Why don't you outsource it on Fiverr? Just give them the graphics you would like them to use and you don't need to care about it.

unless you want to become a graphics designer use fiverr. or use the graphics people on this forum.

The reason I say this is because I tried to design stuff myself and I just became more and more frustrated with the process. Hours of tutorials and videos.

It was just not a good investment for me.

but like I said if you like graphics design as a hobby then go for it, but if you just want a logo for profit, find someone else with the expertise.

save the time and the money

    Hope this helped

You can find customizable ready-made logo designs at Logo Search I would simply select one and modify/customize to suit your needs.

Google "GIMP," it's very similar to photoshop... and it's free.

It does require a little bit of training which you can watch youtube videos to understand.

    Also,
Ad Rockstar is free, and does a quick job of it for the most part. Ideally you're running windows, it bogs down on my VM on Mac.

There are other websites that offer this 'contest' style of logo and site design. Freelancer.com now offers this service. They charge from $290 (at time of writing this eBook).
Here are some other websites that offer a contest style of logo design:
      48hourslogo.com
      designcrowd.com
      99designs.com
      crowdspring.com
      designcontest.com
      logomyway.com
I suppose that if you are on a tight budget then you could design your logo yourself but I think your logo is terribly important. It's a major part of your branding; think of any well-known company and you immediately think of its logo. Spending $100 on a logo is money well spent in my opinion.
