Turning my 200€/Mo Mini Site into a 400€/Mo Site by building an E-Mail List - How?

Hey guys,

I have built a SEO mini site in the "make money" niche. It's basically a one page site where I promote a clickbank product, with the direct affiliate link to the sales page.

This site makes me 150€ to 200€ a month this way.

Now I'm thinking about implementing an E-Mail list where I offer a free course (like basics of affiliate marketing or something like that) and then promote interesting offers over time.

QUESTION IS:

- Should I restructure my site to JUST go for the Opt-In without referring them to the Clickbank product directly anymore?

OR

- Should I just INCLUDE an Opt-In for the free course and other than that leave the page like it is now? (after all it makes me some good cash already)


The first option might make me more money later and is a bit clearer "Call to Action" wise.

The second option would (at least theoretically) have both benefits (1. keep making me money NOW, and 2) make a list that I can make money off of over time). HOWEVER this option is a bit less clear to the visitor (if that makes sense).


Don't get me wrong, I'm all about testing. I'm just very curious about your experiences with mini sites and incorporating E-Mail opt-ins, to have kind of a starting point!

    Why not just build another site for an optin with a nice sales funnel to get commissions.
    That way your existing site makes you money plus you are building your list and making money on the new site

    sure, but for now i'm looking for a way to make more money out of this one particular site, because i believe that there's much more potential.

    i did a lot of split testing and that's how i got to 150€-200€ a month. but i think that if i implement some form of e-mail marketing i might get even more from that site. i'm just looking for the best way to do that, since i don't have any experience with e-mail.
