Dude. fitness. perfect.

Go around, make a list of all OTHER fitness fan pages that would be of benefit, have your target market, etc.

First ask them to post for you (pages now have some admins names posted, but if not, just post on the page and ask the owner to get in touch with you (give them a reason too that will spike curiosity))

Get a couple promotions under your belt... If they decline your attempt to have them post, offer them something... Are you an expert or trainer in this field? Could you get a free copy from the creator of the product to give them? (I've done this with my products to great success)

Once you get a decent following. Target similar fitness pages with similar counts of members... ask the owners if you can promote one anothers page (like ad shares),

Also an enticing reason to like your page is a necessity. Make it a custom page with custom tabs... get OPT INS, so you can follow up.

I am the owner of one of the largest basketball fan pages on book (220k Plus) by using this method... it's a grind but once your page catches traction, you can kill!

These people are FANS, and these other page owners for the most part are the BIGGEST FANS, so if you explain that you offer a program that HELPS people get into shape, and that you would like to offer them a chance to try the product out for free first, and if they like it... then help send you fans or something like that, you'll do fine!

This would be an option, i might need to ask the owner of the product i am promoting.

I mean, i made my own report (from some PLR ebook)...but i think the quality is underwhelming - it would really be best if i can get the original report i am promoting and then ask those other page owners to review it or something.

Congratulations! What products are you promoting? Are you making sales now? How did you do it? What strategy are you employing to increase your number of fans... buyers? I would like to know and perhaps get into FB marketing as well. Thanks.

Coo dude. I am in the vertical jump and basketball niche. So I sell my own stuff, I was click bank premier in 2011 (toot toot), and at this point my natural growth is pretty nice at 500 peeps a day + or - a few...

I don't sell ANYTHING on the page... just provide the content the fans love and they keep coming back, sharing, and LOVING the page. I have three content providing "Top Fans" whom I just found to be the most active and knowledgeable on the page, had them sign a documents incase they were to try to take the page (delete me from admin)

and continue to do promotions for other pages in the since now if they do 10 a week for me, I'll do 1-2 for them (Because my page is MUCH larger than the ones I reach out too now)

The main kicker here that free gift, let me guess it's a short report with some tips and then in the book referring to the real product?

What i also like A LOT about your page that it appears to be very informative and although made in a slick way, it is still 100% within facebook TOS.

I have seen some CPA fanpages where they used a lot of bl@ckhat tricks and content locker stuff...no real content except tricking the people somehow to go through the CPA gates.

Yours is really good and clean at the same time (as if i didnt say that yet

and makes it clear WHY and HOW a page can get many, many fans. This thread helped me much better than the other threads on the bh forums.

  Tell me about it how incredible stupid (IMO!) the way is to add content/apps on your page - seriously, this is the worst clusterf*** i have ever seen how facebook implemented this...
  
  I also know there is software/tools out there to make pages etc...it's really no big deal since i am a coder...i intentionally started to "hand-code" just to see the basics behind it and how its done on facebook.

If you have some cash to spend, you could send traffic with facebook ads.

Facebook ads are cheaper when sending directly to a fanpage too.

1 - comment on popular fan pages within your niche

2 - upload vids to youtube with your fanpage link in the description and add an annotation telling the viewers to like your fanpage

3 - twitte your fanpage

4 - add a reveal iframe to your fanpage for viral likes

5 - your imagination.... Take actions!!
