Organic Traffic and does it pay?

Okay I want to know, do you you get alot of organic traffic and does it pay.
I do get alot from some sites but seems other traffic generating ideas get me just as many clicks and sales. Most other traffic gets me more.

It may just be me but I am seriously starting to think all the seo work and money I put into a site I can get the same amount of profit out of through alternate means.

    Of course it does.

Your organic traffic isn't going anywhere. That's passive as long as it's updated. And why wouldn't you keep a website updated anyway?

Anything extra you use will be giving you an extra income.

I recommend learning some good basics of SEO so they don't cost you as much. Then you can even evolve your organic searches by yourself.

Man I am pretty good at seo and my seo guy is great, your missing the point, what Im saying is that what I spend on time and money doing seo is not getting more than other ways I'm paying to drive traffic to my site.

You just can't build a website and watch it grow, it is almost and I said almost impossible. You have to nurture it and feed it to watch it grow. Im just saying other ways to drive traffic for the same costs is getting me there faster is all.

        Mr. Smoke,
Ok my friend I will bite...

There is a lot of talk about Paid Traffic... The only real benefit I see if any is Fast Traffic for a Quick Impact...To me and the Models i use... It's a waste of money...since you have to KEEP PAYING OVER AND OVER...for the same result.

It's kind of like the definition of Insanity...Doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result each time.

        NOW... Let's talk organic...

I make all of my income from organic search traffic... From highly searched short keywords to long tailed ones... The beauty of the SEO game, once you master it, there is no term or search phrase you can't rank for period...Sounds like you get that.

To put your thoughts to rest... Outsource the Off Page SEO and take care of the On page SEO yourself. I never have more than 2 hrs into a website when i build it... Then i set and forget for 30 days. Come back look at where I am in the serps for terms... Buy the correct Off Page SEO Package from my Outsourcer and off we go. I LOVE ORGANIC and PITY THE FOOL who continually uses Adwords, PPC or other outside paid sources.

If you got your SEO game on LOCK the rest is easy. Your going to be ahead far more from the organic point that PPC or other paid versions if you ask me. We started our first MEGA AUTHORITY SITE last month. In 26 days we have written 67 custom Keyword targeted blog posts ourselves ( yes time consuming ) but already have this site ALL ORGANIC with an alexa ranking under 50k in the U.S. and under 700k Global... thats not saying much... what is cool... We are already showing up in the serps for over 164 keyword/phrases and now starting to dump the Off page SEO on each phrase...

Adsense only is already at $34 a day and were just getting started... Plus we will monetize it with our own $7 product and Amazon.

Stick with the Organic Man... You can't go wrong...

I was hoping for a post like that lol. Yeah I will always have organic, but really think about it. Your pr can be 9 or 10 and one could be 0 or 2 and you could make more sales off the lower rankng website, Same with organic, if the serps don't pick it up right, links are not going to be clicked. yeah I like organic but my spreadsheet does not lie. I am almost making as much on paid traffic (I don't do ppc any longer.) as I am on organic traffic, but organic will always be there even if I don't pay.

And yes when it doesn't pick up like I want I change my plan. I just wanted a debate is all. Thanks, a little late though, I'm bushed. We can argue tomorrow. Your very insiteful.

Organic traffic has trumped any paid traffic I have ever bought. What kind of sites are these that you have? are you promoting affiliate products? offering an online service? selling a physical product? Depending on what you are selling will dictate the best source of marketing and traffic.
