What's the best WP theme for IM marketers?

Hi everyone,
I'd love to know what you consider the best WP theme for an IM marketing blog.
I currently use Optimize Press for one of my websites, and this is brilliant, but has to be used on pages rather than posts. What I'd like to know is which theme is most flexible for posts.
Cheers
Marc

There are many of them. I think it might depend on what you are doing with the blog /website. The best thing to do is go in to themes and play around with them.

Do you want something sticky or do you want to show the newest post? Do you need them on the front page or not? All of these questions will help you find the best theme for you.

I think that would be the best question: What is the best theme for (whatever you are working on)

    I hope that helps.

The best is a custom made one. It has to be unique, it has to have a valid HTML structure and it has to be SEO-friendly (you know, all the functionality of popular plugins like "All in One SEO Pack" etc, can be done by properly made WP theme)

As others have said it depends what you want, but I subscribe to elegantthemes[.]com well worth the few dollars per year as you then get a choice of a number of premium themes.

I take those and modify to suit my project which works well.

There are other 'theme clubs' where you pay monthly/yearly and get a choice of a number of premium themes, in my view well worth the price

I often just check the main places for them, such as Woothemes etc, but you can often get some nice ones custom made for you as said before. I see people selling custom made templates for just under $100 which is good seeing as you can make it do whatever you want it to do.

Or you could just stick with the one you are using and maybe customize it in some way? You can often customize it pretty easily in Wordpress.

I also recommend elegantthemes. Really high quality and nice themes. If you need more check other premium themes with yearly subscriptions.

Genes framework from studio press comes with like 30 + themes for around $200 and they look very cool and have good functionality and easily customizable.

Profits Theme is also good for Internet Marketing, although Optimize Press seems a bit better.

I'm playing with Headway Theme 3.0 right now, but it's more of a general framework than an IM "theme".

Whatever that fits your feelings. I mean, the best theme is the one you feel good about. There is plenty of awesome themes you just have to search for a while. I go to ElegantThemes and Woothemes. But many times when I find a good theme, there is something I don't like about it. So I have to customize it.

I find what looks the best and then customize it for my needs. That's it.

It depends on what you're using the theme for. If you're looking for a very nice theme with lots of good functions, I always go now to Themeforest.net. Great WP themes. All very up to date and look really good. These are probably better used for big authority sites and not small niche sites or sites for landing pages, etc.

      I like ithemes builder personally:

Once you get the hang of it you can create whatever you want!

On certain pages you can have 1 layout (you can create as many layouts as you want, its all point and click) your posts you can have another.

You can set layouts globally or on a page by page basis with zero coding required

      Regards

Thanks everyone for some really informative replies. I've just been checking out both Elegant themes (70 themes for $39) and also iThemes Builder which looks really good but is a bit more pricey.
    Cheers
