Review My Article MArketing Model

Hello fellow IMers,
I am starting a new affilliate campaign and I intend using a particular model That I used to make money back in 2010. Please I would like to know if this model still works for Clickbank or Do I modify it.

MODEL:

- Find a CB product

- Write a product review for my site

- Find 10 longtail keywords (3-4 words each)

- Write 10 articles (1 for each keyword)

- Post to 5 article directories (with a link to my review)

Thats it!
I would appreciate it if Alexa, tpw and other article marketers can help me out with this.

Thats not article marketing. That's posting some article to some directories.

Do this instead... (Alexa will come give you the straight dope I'm sure).

Write quality articles. Put them on your site. The whole purpose of your site is to collect email addresses...

Once indexed on your site post to ezine articles with a link to your squeeze page and a non-anchor text link to your site or squeeze page...

Write a great auto responder series. And make your sales through there.

Build relationships with people in your niche, guest blog, etc.

Do some searches, there are literally a million threads on this.

    Ok...thanks for your contribution.
    I appreciate.
But can I make money using this model (I'd include a squeeze page to the site)?

      You've kindly supplied it already.

I can perhaps add a "reading reference" or two to your remarks, above, if they help ...

Article marketing is a traffic-generation method in its own right, not a part of "SEO": http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

Nobody can say, with certainty, I'm afraid.

I couldn't make money with it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can't. You may have a chance, if you get absolutely every tiny detail right at every stage of what you're doing, and choose the right product(s), and pay attention to absolutely everything you do, and have a really good autoresponder series. I just don't know.

I'm not quite clear how you're planning to generate your traffic, I admit.

If you do what you propose above, with articles written for syndication, that happen to get syndicated from Ezine Articles to relevant niche sites/ezines with targeted traffic, then certainly you might make money, because you'll have decent traffic.

I do think it may help you a lot to give the posts linked to above a slow, thoughtful read. Perhaps especially this post and the links inside it: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

I would hope so: that's the main purpose of having a site, in this context - either a squeeze page or a prominently incentivized opt-in on the landing page of a niche site, anyway. If you're going to try article marketing, you'll want to publish all the articles and have them indexed on your own site first, anyway, before submitting them anywhere else (long-term SEO benefits). I don't understand why you propose to submit to 5 article directories - it seems a bit excessive? I don't suggest it would be "wrong": just "unnecessary" and "without additional benefit" and perhaps not the best use of one's time? But possibly you'll change your mind about that after a look through some of the threads mentioned above?

      Good luck!

I would focus on the market instead of a single product from clickbank. You should find a market that has a lot of verticals. Ex: if you are into golf, there is a lot of products that would interest a golf-maniac.

The next step would be to focus on collecting e-mails on your site with traffic from your article marketing. You make the sale on the backend. If they don't buy at first, you can offer a second product, a third, etc etc.

The beauty of this is that you can have the same e-mail sequence for different websites that will be collecting you more and more leads. But if you ask me, the best part is that it is Google-proof and once you get a good list you can make money pressing a "send" button

And you don't need to limit yourself with clickbank products. You can trow some CPAs at them
